The rooms are clean but the feeling you have is like you are in the Shining(the movie), a thing which I enjoyed but not so many will. I don't recommend the restaurant by lunch and dinner but we had breakfast included in the price and went ok.

Perfect if you are a Stephen King fan and you have read the Shining! The hall gives you the chills and you almost expect to see twins asking you to play with them...

The location is amazing, right in the center, the room is ok, but the experience with their restaurant was unpleasant...we were the only couple eating dinner there and we were served by a very bored and a little impolite lady...

Do not recommend the restaurant, but the hotel helps you saving time when visiting.

This hotel could've been great due to its location (within walking distance of the city centre and most interesting places in Timisoara), but it feels like a huge missed opportunity. My husband and I stayed there for one night when the city was booked solid and we needed somewhere to crash for a few hours. The room we were given stank of stale tobacco - whoever cleaned it before we arrived didn't bother opening a window. I understand that you get what you pay for, but the lack of caring for this pretty damn big detail is shockingly bad. The bedding was clean, at least.

The bathroom had a sliding plastic door. Both the hallway and bathroom lights were on a motion sensor, which felt unnecessary and annoying as they'd turn on randomly throughout the night. Finally, the walls were paper-thin. Judging from other reviews, this seems to be common.

Finally, you can't pay for parking unless you have a Romanian phone number, as two tourists before us found out (reception doesn't sell parking passes and you have to pay by text). There is a private parking nearby, but from experience it's ran by dodgy-looking scammers and severely overpriced. Not the hotel's fault but worth mentioning if you're driving into the city.

All in all, the only good thing about this hotel is the location. I don't recommend it.

It's not perfect but it has anything you would expect from a two star hotel. It's pretty basic, but ok. Breakfast is a little poor in choices. My double room is a nice one with a great view towards the Huniade Castle and the front parking lot. The rooms with a view to the back of the hotel are darker and they have a bad view.

The staff is friendly and the position is perfect, right at the center of the city. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbours talking, laughing, taking showers etc. A little weird...

Unfortunate enough to have different neighbors for the 2 nights chatting away through the night. The conversations were easily carried through the walls/bathroom vents. Asked front desk to call but not done. Room was basic and clean. Bedding and bed were decent. Central location but not worth the sleepless nights. They should have a policy of quiet hours between 12-6:00am.
