Hotel Beta is about two kilometers out of town, but it's right at the bus station, which is great if you are arriving or leaving by bus. The train station is about five minutes walk across a bridge and from there you can easily get a bus into the centre.
At reception we were met with a pleasant smile by a young lady who was friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
We were on the fifth floor, with no lift, but we had three windows that we could open, so the room was light and airy. Bathroom and toilet were nearby in the corridor, but we had a wash-basin in the room. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work in the room and we had to bring it down to the lobby to catch up with our mail.
For breakfast, included in the price, there was a choice of five sets. Mine was an omelette which came with a tomato and some cheese spread, and my wife chose sausages and a “boiled egg”, which actually turned out to be a poached egg.
Overall, a pretty decent place to stay.
