Stayed here for 2 nights on their triple sharing room (3 single beds) last week. Triple sharing rooms go for around $90 nett with free breakfast. Breakfast is okay but if you eat late, you'll have few options left.

Location wise, pretty good. Ayala Mall is just a short walk, like less than 5 mins if you are a brisk walker. Rooms are of decent size, no bathtub, just a shower area. Hotel design is a bit quirky with the gaudy wall murals in the lobby but that is expected since they got Tessa Prieto Valdez (designer/socialite from Manila) to do the interior design.

Service is pretty good. The doormen were pretty warm and welcoming. Always ready to assist. Check in and check out were okay, although the girl at the reception during check in forgot to return my ID and I had to go back to get it.

The only thing I consided unusual was that they charged us for extra pillows! They only provided 1 pillow per bed, when we asked for extra pillows, they said it will be an additional P10 each. lol. Aside from that, everything was okay.

The Elizabeth hotel might seem like an average hotel. it may be quite small and has silly sunflower decorations on its exterior, but the hotel offers a relaxing stay to its clients. We got the double room and it was really clean, mattress is comfortable and soft, the bed is big, it is complete with a fridge and a mini bar to make coffee and tea. the bathroom is spacious and very clean too. The hotel also has a small gym, but clients seldom visit it. The only bad thing is that the breakfast buffet has limited choices. the wifi also is very slow and Ihad to find a certain spot to access it. but overall , I would recommend the Elizabeth hotel, the price is reasonable too.

The double room I stay in was spacious , 2 squeen size bed...There was enough pillows which is plus factor for me . They provide 2 complimentary mineral water everyday. There is complimentary tea bags and sachet coffee, the only minus point was they did not provide us with any electric kettle, they did not even replace it even they have been doing housekeeping for the past 4 days. We did not ask for it as we are not into drinking tea or coffee. They provide toiletries like, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, body lotion, cotton wool and cotton bud . The toilet roll is of good quality. The free wifi was at low strength, you need to be near to the room entrance in order to get consistent wifi, even though it is only 2 bar.
Iocation is 10 mins walk away from Alaya mall.

Stayed over the Easter Weekend and then again at the end of April for a night. Experienced both the deluxe double and triple with breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Has all of the amenities of upscale hotels like the Marriott but was quiet with very little traffic in the lobby and hallways. Plus the price hovers around the 90 dollar area depending on the room you choose which isn't bad considering you get a room, Wi-Fi and breakfast included.

I think the staff is great. Because they are a new hotel, they are still developing there professional skills but overall, they did a fine job. Most of our needs were addressed rather quickly. Some slight professional errors include the staff taking breaks in areas where guests frequent like the parking lot in the basement or on the 3rd floor terrace. Also, I've caught the staff congregating in the lobby a lot. Maybe creating a designated break room or staff room would solve this.

Breakfast buffet wasn't bad. Not sure how fresh some of the dishes were like the salads but overall the hot food was decent and the egg station is a great idea. Coffee was freshly brewed
and the wait staff was attentive. I've also tried some of the lunch menu which was pretty good. They offer an afternoon All-You-Can-Eat Halo Halo dessert for 100 pesos plus there are dinner packages available including a grill night on the 3rd floor terrace. Sometimes there is entertainment with dinner and/or at the bar on weekends.

Room service food was also quite good and arrived in a timely fashion.

If you watch TV adamantly, you will be disappointed with the channel selection but there's so much to do in the area including shopping at the Ayala Mall which is about a 5 minute walk away.

Usually when we visit Cebu we stay at the Marriott but I think the Hotel Elizabeth in terms of room offerings, cleanliness, service and style is very comparable. Again, I like the Elizabeth for its low-key atmosphere. It's not too busy and is pretty quiet. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room not facing the street - a bit quiter and better view.

We were hotel hunting, in search for the best hotel situated just within the city. We would be using it as a place to prepare for our wedding (dress up, make up, etc.) We already found a place for the reception so we were only on hunt for a good value hotel with great ambiance, spacious rooms, and accommodating staff, for that purpose.

We came across with a Hotel Elizabeth promo on one of the deal sites online. We immediately contacted the hotel to confirm this, and they said that it is true. We tried to pre-book the dates with the sales person we talked to over the phone, even before purchasing the deal online, and they were happy to do that for us, we also pre-booked an additional deluxe room, of which they offered a discounted amount too. We had them confirm that it would be OK to use the rooms for Wedding Preparation and they are not that strict about it as long as we comply with the hotel rules, on privacy, silence, etc.

That day we purchased 2 coupons online, Called the number on the vooucher (a Manila number), and emailed fersal hotel groups with my ID and vouchers purchased with booked dates. Few days after, we went to the hotel to check out their rooms. We were greeted with friendly faces. We were accommodated right away and the sales staff showed us the different rooms.

PROS:
lovely spacious rooms:
Presidential Suite - 2 rooms, living area, kitchen, bar and dining, lcd tv, one on each room + living area. T&B with tub on each room. The staff said, the owner usually use this place when he comes and visit. This dont get booked very often
Honeymoon Suite - lovely lovely lovely, they only have one of this kind of room, the entire room is divided into half. half is thebedroom while the other half is the T&B. there's a huge tub and a spacious shower area with a square rainshower panel. loveelyyy
Executive Suite - this is the room that we've booked for 2 days. a 1 bedroom suite room, Has a living area, a kitchen and dining corner and a bedroom. 2 bathrooms, 1 in the living are and 1 inside the bedroom + a tub. It also has a writing desk, very executive in design
Junior Suite - A studio type room that's very spacious, has a sofa on one corner and a writing desk that's similar to that of the Executive suite. T&B also has a tub
Deluxe Rooms - they have 3 types of deluxe rooms. 3 single beds'/1king bed, 1 queen size and 1 single. these are also spacious enough. with Tub still in the T&B. you may choice a non-smoking or a smoking room.

They have cool paintings on their hotel walls ( not inside the rooms, and yes, painted directly pn the wall, super cool and such pieces of art).

In house guests have access to the gym, they have a veranda, an outdoor terrace at the 3rd floor (i believe) where you can hang out, chat, smoke .

The hotel is just near Ayala Mall.

The downside is, they dont have a pool. But they said they're planning to turn the veranda to a pool area, come 2013...

But overall, my first impression is a 2 thumbs up.
Will post a review after our stay come May.

Room Tip: Ask the frontdesk to let you see all the rooms so you can choose best. You have a choice of the harbor view or the mountain view, a smoking room or non-smoking room.
