We did the three hour boat ride to the Uros islands. 3-6pm had a lovely sunset and golden hour over the lake. Fredy our guide, as someone who grew up on the lake, was super knowledgeable and respectful. Loved it would 100% recommend.

Fredy was an amazing guide! His knowledge of the islands added so much to the tour. He knows the native language and was able to connect with both the tourist and the native people on the islands. He has a great sense of humor and I greatly recommend Fredy as a guide!!

Was able to take great pics on the EOS M50, sadly not able to show them below.

Boat ride was chill, history was interesting.

Tour guide, Freddy, was super friendly and informative. Bilingual

I would say expect to buy at least one or two souvenirs and they are okay with bargaining. The people of the islands work and band together to stay afloat, literally. Tourism is massive for them.

They accept all cash types, ALL, and even card with a 10% commission fee.

I got a hat and a necklace :)
Love my people

We did the full day tour to Urus y Taquile. We strongly recommend this tour as we really enjoyed it. Our guides Fredy and Jonathan were very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Lake Titikaka.
