Description: About Cherish your precious moments of Celebration Among your loved ones in the magical setting of Dar El Ezz. The One and Only castle of Mesmerizing halls and b Description A joint initiative by FTI and Ministry of Tourism, the Dar El Ezz raises the bar on restaurant fine dining - three floors high to be exact. The complex has been constructed over 3,690 sqm and incorporates a fort like design to reflect Nizwa's historic and captivating past. The international fine dining restaurant 'Memories' boasts a seating capacity of over 200 people and sports a design that is reminiscent of Nizwa's panoramic desert landscape. Its most spellbinding feature is perhaps the outdoor terrace that is surrounded by cascading waterfalls and real rock structures. The restaurant has family and VIP rooms designed on par with international standards. Dar El Ezz also has a Multi-purpose banquet hall called "Sharayar" hailed as one of its kind in Nizwa. It boasts a seating capacity in excess of 600 people and its multi-purpose hall is well equipped to host a variety of events. A star attraction of this five-star food paradise is Dar El Ezz's open air terrace coffee shop 'Clouds' serving authentic Lebanese and Mediterranean to breathtaking views of the land. It is worth mentioning that FTI has spared no effort in creating an authentic international culinary experience for its guests by hiring over 60 experienced international staff from 20 countries. We ordered for grilled platter of fish, baked platter of fish, fried platter of fish and chicken breast. These were served with prawns . Prawns were undone and fishes were tasteless. ...whole restaurant was deserted...Ambience was good ..but the bright lit reduced it's wholeness and no music. Bread served were cold. No one in the reception to guide to the restaurant ...

This review is about the restaurant Memories in Dar El Ezz (which houses 4 restaurants in total) Let's start by saying the service is friendly and you're treated as a VIP. That's where the positives end, as far as I'm concerned.
One minus about the service: the asked if we wanted our main when we were still eating our starter!
The atmosphere: nice waterfall, but too much white light which doesn't make it very cosy.
The food was okay: not bad, but absolutely not fine dining like they advertise. We had deepfried prawns and tabouleh as a starter. It was good, but nothing special. Mains: Lamb Shuwa (oman specialty) and Omani-cooked chicken. Tiny amount of meat compared to the huge pile of byriani rice (of which we had better). And the taste of it was also average. Considering the prices (we payed 35OR for this (including bottle of water and a mocktail)), we decided to leave the dessert for what it was. I wouldn't come back here, since the price is way too high in comparison to the quality of the food. I comparison: we had dinner for 5OR in total with a better quality in Bahjat al Sham restaurant (in Al Diyar hotel in Nizwa)

Fed up with eating rice on dusty carpets, we have found this restaurant in the Nitzwa area, which seemed to have nice reviews. The place is relatively new and not so easy to be found, but we have been satisfied with the overall dining experience. The ambiance is lavish and there is a wide selection of international cuisine. We opted for the "Cloud" roof-bar which offers a more informal location and very good mediterranean and lybanese food. The prices are higher than other restaurants in the region (at least according to my experience), but this place definitely belongs to another level (and the portions are huge anyway)

After receiving an sms about a new fine dining restaurant restaurant recently opened in Nizwa, I had really a curiosity to go and check it with my friends since we already know that there is no really good food served there in that region and there isn't even a fine dining restaurant. We booked and reserved a table for 4. When we entered the restaurant, we were impressed with the classiness of Dar El Ezz complex, the welcoming we received was amazing we felt as if we are VVIP guests (I hope they stay like that!) then we asked to do a tour in the building which consists of 3 floors: a multipurpose banquet hall which gave an Awe effect to us all to its simple but classy interior, Clouds which is located on the 1st floor open air cafe and been informed that it serves Lebanese and Mediterranean food and finally Memories the place we dined in. I simply liked how simple they made the decoration and the maroon color added a majestic touch to the place. We sat next to the waterfall they call it in Oman Al Falaj. Very nice place and quite which gave us privacy. The mocktails they offered were simply tasty and fresh!! OMG! the bread so fresh and yummy. We ordered 2 salads and 2 hot appetizers, 4 different main courses and 2 sweets. Every single dish was superb. It is a very affordable high end restaurant!! I wish that we also have this in Muscat itself!! Definitely we will come back again :)

The road that it takes us we feel like it is interior but when I saw the place while I parked the car the way they constructed each bricks shows the love they showed in their work. I was really admired by seeing the memories resturant they have huge space the service was verylovely with smiling in the waiters face. They have a very big banquet hall it shows we can have a party functions there. The another one clouds they have space for outside and the arrangement were lovely.

Never skip this place if anyone visit at nizwa !!!!!
