The owner was very quick to respond to questions by email, and arrange check-in logistics. Main living areas were beautifully decorated, very quirky. Lots of stairs (4 floors) but not a problem for us, and though not a huge place it was exactly what you'd expect tucked into a little street in the Medina. Roof terrace was a great place for breakfast and kitchen had everything you'd need. Good value for money, great location - right next to the bus station/taxis but still in the medina. Occasionally a bit noisy from the kids/neighbours but nice to feel like you were in a proper neighbourhood. Only bad thing I can think to say was that the grill for the BBQ hadn't been cleaned properly from the last time it was used so it put us off having a BBQ, and one of the toilets was a little temperamental to flush, but since there were 2 others it didn't matter. Overall a great little place I would come back to if I have the opportunity.
