Exceptional food and diverse menu which is changed nightly. Wonderful service from all the team, but Dev in particular deserves an honorable mention. Excellent choice of wine on offer.

Breakfast was a delicious buffet with everything you could possibly want. We will miss Annabelles omelettes and eggs Benedict immensely.

The variety of food you are offered at every meal is impressive and the level of service is high. Eat outside when the sun is out, on the terrace or inside if you need the shade. You will always find something new and tasty on the Chefs specials especially if you enjoy fish.

This Restaraunt has fantastic outdoor ambience, and great fine dining experience at the north coast of mauritius. The service is friendly and ideal for a quiet dinner with friends. The menu has good variety of selection from starters, main course and desert. Highly recommended.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The staff advised the other restaurants were full but as you do not need to book for Archipel, we could eat there, but was advised it was a Mauritian buffet.
Not knowing what this may entail, being our first night, we got dressed up and made our way to the restaurant. Unfortunately for me, it was a seafood buffet. Seafood doesn't agree with me and therefore I couldn't eat most of the food.
Things I could eat, for example calamari, had been sitting out under a warmed plate for most the night and were like rubber!

We were told we could order the usual menu in room service, but after getting ready its not quite how we imagined our first night. so I ordered from the vegetarian menu, which I did not like.

We did return to the restaurant a few more times over our trip, but these were on al la carte nights.
The food then was delicious. We had steak a few times, chicken etc all which were very nice. However half the menu, including the fillet steak had a supplement of 25 euros for half board, which is near what you would pay for a fillet steak in a top London restaurant!

Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, a huge selection of different cuisines.
One morning we ate late and my husbands waffle was cold and rock hard. They dont cook the waffles or pancakes fresh for you, so sometimes they could have been sitting there a while.

I would definitely recommend the restaurant for mon-sat days, just be prepared to have a large bill at the end of your meal!
