My wife and I arrived on 4th November and were warmly welcomed by the islands fantastic staff with flowers and traditional Maldivian music.
After a refreshing cold towel and cocktail we were shown to our room to settle in. The rooms are wonderfully Maldivian with a fine balance of luxury included. We were lucky to be allocated room 208, a Pool Villa on the sunset side of the island, which had picturesque views into the centre of the Atoll.

The marine life is great, plenty of fish of all different varieties. There are snorkelling points all around the island accessible by swimming. We used a pedal boat to go further out and snorkel in the deeper water. Here we saw hundreds of fish in shoals as well as an eagle ray, reef sharks (big enough to panic the wife, but completely safe! ;-) AND whilst on the pedal boat we saw about a dozen Dolphins jumping out of the water in the not too far distance!!! In fact we saw Dolphins several times, at lunchtimes from the Korakali restaurant, as well as swimming between the island and the sandbank whilst we lazed in the infinity pool!! Purely wonderful.

There are plenty of excursions to pick from, We went on the turtle quest and saw plenty more fish, coral and of course Turtles!!

We stayed all inclusive which included all meals in the buffet restaurant - Korakali. The food was great with the staff eager to ensure you had something to enjoy. The all included beverage list was extensive; Beer; Wine; Cava; Cocktails/Mocktails!!!! There were plenty of spirits too... what more could you want?

The spa was extremely relaxing and peaceful with a superb treatment therapist.

The compliment to this paradise island is the amazing staff. They couldn't do more to ensure your relaxed and peaceful - but certainly not intrusive!! We spent many nights after dinner at the Fani-Handi bar playing pool. Here we were looked after by Raafee and Ali!! Both extremely friendly and attentive to refill your glass.
Everyday we were greeted by first/surname and it felt everyone knew who we were! (Granted its a newly opened small island, but still.)
Finally the biggest thanks is to Siaar the General Manager, Max, Afeef, Malaaz and Kito!! All have been extremely good to us from the point of booking to being on the island. Malaaz would always come and find us at dinner to ensure our day was memorable. He would engage about everything and anything and we really enjoyed understanding the Maldivian culture and debating the football from back home!!! Probably took up too much of his time!

For our last night Afeef and his team arranged a photo shoot for us with the In-house photographer who was brilliant. This culminated in a private candlelit dinner on the decking of Water Villa 305. The food was phenomenal, the room spectacular and the great lengths the team had gone to, to decorate it for our final night - priceless.

The resort is very new, only weeks old but they have certainly hit the ground running and it definitely will be a popular island with its current fantastic team leading the way. Staying here you won't be disappointed!!

I’m glad to hear you spent quality time with each other and that the team created some truly memorable experiences for you. As much as how you've felt it, it gave us an equal amount of happiness creating those little surprises for you. We can’t wait to welcome you back again! :)

I agonised over which resort to chose for our once in a lifetime trip to the Maldives, so much choice depending on what you want. As Fushifaru was a new resort we took a risk, rejecting all of the more established resorts. It was well worth taking that risk. I thought I would regret not choosing a more established resort but we didn't look back once.
Our arrival at the airport was greeted by Muhammed, which was gratefully received in a new environment. He stayed with us for hours until we were on our seaplane.
Arrival at Fushifaru was very special, with the whole team greeting us with local music immediately made you feel like family.
I actually find it difficult to put into words how the island and it's residents made me feel but I cried when I left, and we left with a whole island of new friends and family and we wouldn't hesitate to return, forsaking all the other resorts. I have never returned to the same place twice so hopefully this speaks volumes.
If you want elegant luxury, on a small, eco island with some of the best people (staff) you have ever met then this is the place for you. You will be treated like royalty from start to finish.
The facilities are the best I have ever experienced and the excursions are ample and inspiring.
I could go on but hopefully have said enough!
Thank you to my new Fushifaru family.

Room Tip: Water villas for snorkelling and 6am dolphin wakeups!

We arrived in Fushifaru Maldives on Wednesday 1st November 2017. It is a new resort which only opened 10 days ago. We arrived to a very warm welcome by the staff. Our stay was absolutely amazing. A small but tastefully done resort. Ideal for a good rest and peace and a place to unwind. The staff go out of their way to look after you. The villas have been beautifully planned. The house reef is ok. There are excursions that you can choose from. Just make sure you take mosquito repellant. Although the resort is fumigated every day we still got bitten. It is a paradise retreat and I shall hope we can visit again soon.

Fushifaru island was impressive from the beginning of my stay until the very end. We were first greeted by Mohamed at the airport and he was very helpful. When we arrived to the island the General Manager and his team were there on the jetty with Local music. Check-in was smooth, room is very close from the reception and when we arrived they brought our luggage to our room. All the staff are so nice, friendly and helpful. For the entire stay , every time we see a staff they call our name. Front office provided us with great information on what to do in the area. We dined in KOROKALI restaurants which were all superb! Kito and team is very nice. Every staff we can in contact with were very knowledgeable and attentive. They make you feel like you are the most important person there. The Manager and his team were there to say good bye to us on our departure. At the Airport Mohamed is waiting for us.

The island is clean, water is clear and millions of fish. Beach is wide and rooms are beautiful and spacious. Very Nice pool and gym they have. This is a top class hotel which I will definitely stay at again! I promised Afeef to come with my family again. Please stay there.
