It is so hard to describe a place like Amilla other than ‘perfection’. This was our second trip here and slightly last minute as we added 5 nights on after departing from Six Senses Laamu. And to be honest the best decision we had the privilege of making. Amilla has just got better and better as the years pass and they are still relatively new compared to other resorts. We had an incredible, tranquil, fun, relaxing time. We was busy in a fun way but at the same time the most relaxed we had ever been. From suffering with insomnia caused by a hectic work schedule/family life, I hit that Amilla bed and slept 10-12 hours straight every night.

A very special mention to Sheba (our Katheeb/Butler) she was nothing short of exceptional. And I mean EXCEPTIONAL. So so easy to converse and relate with. So down to earth and amazing in communicating and organising and planning of activities for us and a very active 11 year old boy when the island was short of age appropriate kids. Sheba was a stranger when we arrived and most certainly a friend as we leave today. I couldn’t have asked for a better Katheeb. Request her at all cost!!!

I cannot criticise anything about the stay. I enjoyed my 1-1 yoga session with your visiting Yoga Practitioner, and the daily group classes plus PT with your Bodyism Trainer (he was exceptional!) and a hard act to follow in the light of James Bourne’s departure.

The guys down at the water sports team need a very special mention too. They pretty much adopted our son and gave him so much time playing table tennis, pool and badminton plus stand up paddle boarding. What an incredible bunch of guys they are!

The sunset cruise was most definitely the absolute highlight and something I will never forget. No words to describe that trip. Book it, you will understand and never regret it.

Thank you to our housekeeper who did a spectacular job, so kind, discreet, gentle. He really kept our beach house spotless and so thoughtful to bring little goodies every night for post dinner. Please pass on our sincere heartfelt thanks.

The food was nothing short of outstanding. Going back to real life, we will clearly never eat at that standard again or probably never eat at all and it was so wonderful to have time to talk to the F and B Director and Manager. So much knowledge, so down to earth and so funny and interesting.

Jean-Noel runs an incredible ship here at Amilla and I don’t doubt that is why they are so well regarded amongst clients of all backgrounds and within the celebrity world. He is gentle, unobtrusive but absolutely 100% passionate about making your stay the only holiday you will ever remember. And being returning guest even more so.

Wherever you are in the world look no further than booking with Di Lechner at Addicted to Maldives. She offers a truly personal concierge service to the Maldives and I beg to question anyone else knowing these islands like she does. Exceptional service, warm hearted and down to earth.

See you again next year Amilla! Xx

We stayed in one of the beach villas: spacious, clean, modern, beautiful grounds, with a nice pool and beach. The AC and outdoor showers were a plus, as was our attentive and competent butler. We availed ourselves of the tennis courts, tennis pro, spa, masseuses, restaurants, and dive operation. All were wonderful. We also participated in the stargazing and dolphin cruises while there: again, wonderful.
This is clearly one the best dive operations we've dived with yet: large boats, never crowded (max 8 divers any given day), four exits into the water, fresh water shower and hoses on the back, engines were quiet, the vast majority of the boat was covered with the opportunity to go up a deck if you wanted some sun, and there was juice and a light meal during the surface intervals. The dive professionals and staff were universally polite, positive, experienced, knowledgeable of the local sites and wildlife, and the ratio was never greater than three to one. They washed and dried our gear every day and had it waiting for us on the boat when we got there the next. Free nitrox was a plus as was the ability to step up to 100-cubic-foot tanks. Can't say enough good things about Dive Butler on Baa Atoll.

No fault of the hotel we experienced bad weather during all our stay, if we had chosen an over water villa opposed to a beach house we would have been able to enjoy the scenery and sea life. It absolutely poured down and made it difficult to enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
Our beach house was beautiful with every mod con available, we had our own pool and easy access to the beach, however the view to the beach was obscured.
I asked to view the over water villa's and though not nearly as spacious you did feel like you were really enjoying the beautiful Islands waters and stunning view.
We chose an inclusive option however no alcohol is included at this hotels inclusive rate.
The food we experienced at this hotel was of a very high standard, the Asian restaurant was my favourite with the crab being outstanding.
Book early iff you want to dine at The Fish And Chip Restaurant as it is very popular and hard to get in, personally better food was enjoyed elsewhere.
The Japanese option was beautiful with a small additional fee to dine.
I did have a fall off my bike and was pleased that the hotel's doctor treated me free of charge and the hotel guest services manager sent me a lovely bottle of champagne, a lovely gesture.
Due to the heavy rain and cooler conditions it was difficult to take part in any activities, the Spa, wonderful but very expensive.
I also found the $750 fare by seaplane transfer to be higher than other Maldive resorts with about the same flight time. Not sure if the Seaplane or Amilla benefit.
I would definately stay again, the staff were fantastic and work really hard to keep you smiling.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your positive review about your recent visit at Amilla Fushi!

Although you thoroughly enjoyed your stay, the resort facilities and its services, we were also sad to note that your time with us, coincided with some inclement weather and an unfortunate incident.

Unfortunately, unexpected circumstances may happen and it's rewarding to see that the Amilla Islanders, went the extra mile to ensure you are extended the best comfort and attention, at all times. This was certainly the best family holiday we’ve ever had !
The Amilla Fushi is an amazing Hotel, with a brilliant Food & Beverage offering, great water sports, great pools, beaches, jungle and kids club.
Our beach house was huge and luxurious leading onto the beach where we swam with the Turtles !!
However the service was fantastic and the staff and management really made our holiday.
The food & beverage manager Ahmed was always helpful and efficient, however our Butler, Nassa was absolutely brilliant and couldn’t do enough to make sure we all enjoyed our holiday. Big Thank and we all hope to return one day

We had a lovely stay at Amilla Fushi. Not only is it on a beautiful island with an amazing house reef, but its service and facilities are fantastic. The beach is wonderful and the pool is very large and a great place to relax. It has a lot of restaurants, and the ones that we would most recommend are "Feeling Koi", "Joe's Pizza" and "Fish and Chips". All of these are great. Our butler, Samir, was very kind and helpful. The spa is also very nice and perfect for a relaxing treatment. Furthermore, the dive centre staff was very helpful and we had a great time snorkelling and diving near and in the Blue Hole. We had a villa on the water and it was perfect with a beautiful private pool and terrace. Would strongly recommend this resort for a family stay!

Room Tip: The lagoon villas are not the best choice for snorkelers since there is no reef for snorkelling in the lagoon
