Overall the food is good. Some of the portion is a bit small, so need to order more dishes. Can be quite crowded sometimes. Not easy to find parking, need to park at the residential area and walk a bit.

This restaurant is located in a row of shops right smack in the middle of a residential area. So finding parking is close to impossible on weekends.

The crowd is huge and expect to wait some time for a table and another long wait for the food to be served.

The braised Pork Knuckle was excellent. The meat was flavorful and tender and the sauce was really tasty.

The Claypot Water Spinach (“Kangkung”) was surprisingly delicious. The fresh vegetables flavored with fried pork lard were so tasty, we ordered a second helping.

The steamed red snapper was disappointing. Firstly, the fish was too tiny and the portion was insufficient for our group size. Then, it was cooked wrongly and when we rejected it, the kitchen just changed the seasoning on the same ‘recycled’ fish, re-steamed and served it. Needless to say, the little fish was severely over cooked. This shows that for this restaurant, quality control was less important than cost control.

The Salted Egg & Oats Squid was underwhelming. Whilst the squids were not over cooked but the flavoring was just not tasty. This dish was really forgettable.

Overall, the dishes were just average. The portion sizes are small and waiting time is long. Hungry diners might end up being angry diners too.

The restaurant is really cramped so there is nothing going for ambiance. Service from the order taker was good, serving staff were harried and robotic and the kitchen crew was unimpressive.

The simple meal cost close to RM200 which is quite expensive for a run-of-the-mill neighborhood eatery. Whilst there were some good dishes but the whole experience did not inspire us to be back for more.

This is a bit of a scruffy place if you look at it but fairly typical, I guess of a local restaurant/ café in a KL suburb.
We had dinner there and it was quite OK but out of a variety of dishes, the best was the pork and yam. Very tasty. Otherwise the steamed fish and the steamed chicken were both ordinary - plenty of places can do the same if not much better.
Bust so the service was slow. Parking is difficult - certainly on a Saturday night

This restaurant well known in SS2 area. If you not familiar SS2 will be facing difficult to find the location. Overall food is good, a few signature foods should try out.

When eating at Wang Chiew, its best to be specific. Come for the pork knuckle with Thai sauce (among the best in Malaysia), the Indonesian Tau foo (the best in malaysia) and the steamed eggs as well as the salted egg and oat sotong (sinfully good). Dont expect too much for the service or the ambience.
