First time visit this restaurant.

The foods and drinks were delicious, except for the mee Siam which I found a bit tasteless, or should said when I go for the noodle with sambar, the sambar taste cover the noodle. Maybe I should go with lesser sambar next time.

The food tasted good and i enjoyed the variety of food ordered for a table of 6. The durian chendol is not recommended as the durian was not quite fresh. The red ruby dessert was quite a small bowl so not enough if you want to share.

Otherwise, the salted vegetable duck soup was excellent when taken hot.

I used to patron here for lunch when I crave for Peranakan food. However today's visit was a melt-down.
We ordered almost every common Peranakan place on the menu.. but very much to my disappointment, the quality of food was not as good as before.
Pai Tee base was not crispy rather soggy.
Otak otak was cold and bland.
Pandan chicken was tough and overcooked.
Gerang Ikan - fish smelled foul the flesh was hard, gravy tasted more like curry.
Pongteh Chicken - chicken was also tough, gravy tasted just like normal soy sauce chicken with potato, you can hardly taste the spices.
I'm sorry but claiming to be the Authentic Nyonya cuisine, this is truly below average.

There's nothing pretentious about this place. It's true to its roots and it shows in its Nyonya dishes both in presentation and taste.

Be careful when ordering because their portions are pretty sizeable. Nonetheless it's a great place to quell your Nyonya fix !
