Very Reasonable might not have all the natural features of some places closer to nature it is centred in the city but whatever might not exist in natural surroundings is made up for in a vibrant atmosphere in Great People that make Pullman a site to remember whist I am not used to luxury even daily I was able to be part of scenery and more importantly value the Hard Work of the Workers they make Everything Work like Clock work

On our first day, this hotel ticked all the boxes. The view on the 20th floor was great. The room was clean and bathroom spacious.

Then from the second day onwards, the nightmare began. The toilet was blocked. Every time we called someone came with a plunger and got it flushing. Then in the afternoon, it's blocked again. The same pattern went on for the duration of our stay there.

Imagine yourself paying 400 ringgit a night and having to go down to the lobby to use the toilets there. I would say the few men toilets at the lobby were also not properly maintained. One of them wouldn't lock and another is permanently out of order.

You probably would not notice any of the foregoing if you stayed one night. Stay there longer and you will begin to notice a number of maintenance issues (or the lack thereof ).

Have a look at the cleanliness of the carpet in front of the lifts on each floor. The floors we stopped all have the same issues - they were dirty and were not vacuumed.

I certainly hope Pullman would take heed of this feedback because if maintainance issues are neglected, it will take no time to snowball into major issues.

Our holiday in Kuching was spoilt by this unfortunate experience.

I usually stay across the road at Hilton but decided to give Pullman a try this time around! I love the location, near to town and all major attractions but despite being attached to The Hills, there really isn't much to see or do in the mall. Food are available within walking distance otherwise. If you drive, parking is at a flat rate everyday and be sure to get it verified at the lobby.

One of the days I placed an order or breakfast the day before (those slips usually hung at the door) and it arrived late the next day. Being a hotelier myself, it didn't really bother me especially because the staff apologized anyways. I thought the room was beautiful, clean and the staff were great.

Tried the massage service at the spa downstairs which was EXCELLENT. Unfortunately, I didn't try breakfast.

I had a pleasant stay nonetheless but I think I would always remain true to my favorite hotel anyways.

On checking in I had requested that the bed sheets on at least one of the beds be changed because I had another friend staying with me on the last night there. And they accommodated my request by changing both bed sheets as well as the bath robe which I had used.

The service, room, price, location all 5*!
Breakfast buffet spread is delightful too.

I really hope housekeeping include the step of cleaning the exposed areas under the bed and sofa. That's the only thing keeping me from 100% satisfaction.

The Pullman was what you would expect from a modern upmarket hotel.
The Superior King room was a good size, the bathroom was large and had lots of hot water.
The restaurant was good, with a generous selection of local, western and Indian foods.
You have to walk down/up a bit of a hill to get to the waterfront, about 5 mins.
Staff were very pleasant and efficient.
