The place is lovely with authentic western and local dishes...Got a bar and outdoor seating .....I was here with friends to celebrate our Christmas. We never thought it would be so expensive for kids...Anyway, we shared the food and we all happy with the food served. A good experience with friends that go on budget....so we tried to go along with them....Phew, luckily, everything turned out pretty nice...Thanks for such a lovely experience...

Jambu is a neighbourhood restaurant and we always welcome families with kids. Sharing dishes is a great way to enjoy dinner....
Recently we added more pizzas options, pasta dishes and many salads to choose from - you can always ask for your favourite dish... we can create for you.
We now have "mini burgers" and "9 inch pizzas" - great options for kids to share.
Thanks for reviewing Jambu.

The food was great, local or western, which suited parents and kids! My daughter liked stroking their pet dog, cats and watching the resident gecko. Worth a taxi ride

Hi,
Thanks for your great review - Jambu sounds like a "pet restaurant"......LOL...

Jambu is very kids/children friendly and so happy you enjoyed Jambu.

Our house dog - Tequila, our house cats - Ginger and GiGi and not sure the name of the pet Geko - perhaps Doris.... all say hi too....

Hope you all had a lovely holiday and our kind regards from Jambu....

We booked a table for 7 on 17 June for dinner. This was a great place with a laid back, rustic environment. When I booked the place, Chris the owner was so thoughtful and send an image of the table to me as I have never dined there before. On the evening itself, Chris and his staff was warm, friendly and attentive to our needs. Waiting time was longer than we expected, roughly 30-40mins. But that was compensated when the food arrived. We had fish and chips, lamb shank, salmon sizzling pot, beef lasagna, burger, caesar salad and pizza. Food was delicious. We had a great time dining here and we would love to come back for more. Thank you Chris for the great evening and for the tuak shots :)

Hi Florence,
Thank you so much for your review - it goes along way and we are so happy you had a great evening and dinner at Jambu.
Look forward to seeing you all again soon.
P.S - So sorry about the extra waiting time but we try to have all dishes going out at the same time - needs a litle bit extra time to prepare for European dishes.
Thanks so much once again for your review.

Thanks for your kind reveiw.

We have changed our menu slightly, adding some classic local dishes and more pizza options.
The "sweet and sour seabass" and the "chilli beef ribs" are now starting to become favourites.

Thanks again - much appreciated.

A great place for a dinner with very good chic ambience and music. The western food served here are well above average. Quality and freshness of the beef are definitely certain. A ideal place to dine and entertain friends with a very impressive interior decor. Prices on the food menu are within expectation and no hidden surprises.

We are trying hard to maintain our standards and ensuring that our quality is top notch. We personally go to pick up our meats (Tenderloin/Sirloin/Lamb/Chicken) and seafood (Salmon /Seabass/Prawn).
Our head chef runs daily to the market to source the fresh vegetables that we offer.
We are also trying to use as much of the local vegetables that are available to support the local farmers.
Thanks for your great review.
