We spent here one night. Foreign staff was nice and friendly but owner (not sure was she owner or just a local worker) seemed to be little careless and rude.

We had ac in our room. Common spaces not and those were really hot. Very nice to come from refreshing shower to moist and hot space. Not.

We didnt sleep well because room was very noisy. Firstly noises from other room (walls are like paper). You could almost hear breathing. Secondly noises from streets. Windows don't block any noises.

There were many mosquitos in common areas and I got bitten by some. I didnt see many in our room but mosquitonet could have been nice...

Breakfast was ok and location is great. Entrance is quite hidden and there are no signs with name or at least we didn't notice. Next door is other hostel. If you find wall with man on a boat you are on right street.

A very nice hostel with lots of room to spread out downstairs. Breakfasts are fresh fruit and toast, plus coffee and tea bags. It is right near Chulia Street, so super convenient, but off on a side street so it's not super loud at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful while there, and there is good security. The wifi was a bit slow, which is typical for George Town. I think it was mostly caused by the multiple CCTV cameras which allow the owner to keep an eye on things at home; probably it's a bit too much video data for the internet connection. Altogether, this was a very clean hostel and I was very comfortable staying here.

Amazing hostel. So laid back and staff were incredibly helpful. Would recommend anyone to stay here for a trip in Georgetown. Perfect location for nightlife and markets but still quiet enough. Nice communal area and simple breakfast.

We booked a private room and had three nights of good sleep. The airconditioning was a huge savior, since it was very hot outside. We slept on a mattress on the floor and we could hear the conversation our neighbours were having, but somehow this (you can consider these as being uncomfy features) just fit in with the hostel. It was a charming place to stay.

There was a good breakfast-service and the receptionists were very helpful and communicative. They let us use their computer and were just as laid-back as the hostel itself.
