Staff largely ignores you if you're a westerner. When they finally got around to us they got the order completely wrong. The dishes we did get were brought out one at a time and cold. A complaint to management went totally ignored. Great seaside locale, but could use some better management! Would never eat there again nor recommend to anyone.

Restuarant Byblos sur Mer is located at the water... From the little port, close to the hotel of the same name, the restaurant de facfto forms a little pier, ending right in the water. Sitting there with open space towards the sea, the warm winds, you feel like sailing. For this alone, you could visit the restaurant. However, the food is excellent. We had a number of mezze, all fresh, delicate and tasty. Go there

Although set in the best part of Lebanon-i have to say the hotel while dated lacked personality and soul.

there was no welcome and the staff seemed just to go thru the motions.

While i was there a wedding was taking place and it took over the pool area and took a full day to get the area back in order.

The pool deck and pool is dated and very unkept.breakfast was poor also...sorry i am finding it hard to be positive.in a country which needs tourism you have to do better ...refit the hotel...make a better pool area....i will not be back ..but i will return to Byblos.

The Pros:
Spacious clean room decorated with taste, good amenities except for the wireless internet.
Excellent Location on Byblos harbor.
Amazing view
Good restaurants variety and excellent breakfast included
Value for money is good/very good considering the location and amenities.

The Cons: not much really except maybe for the smell of smoke in the lobby.
The pool/beach area: you can probably relax and chill out there but don't expect to swim as it is more of a sea port than a beach and the pool is tiny and dirty.

The hotel is one of the best located hotels in Byblos. It is a bit expensive but worth it.
The hotel overlooks Byblos old port with walking distance to nightlife and shopping activities.
Parking not free, it costs a lot.

Room Tip: Top floors give you better view
