This was a very nice stay. We had a double room, showers and toilets are shared. All facial are super clean and thoughtfully organized. Very convenient communal dining area with kitchen so you can make your meals, tea etc.
Right in the port so easy to get to/from a ferry.
Great fish market 300m from the hostel.

I am staying here for 4 nights in a 6 bed mixed dormitory room. The room is clean and there is a private toilet and shower which is great. The staff here have all been very kind, answering all my questions in a very friendly manner. There is a very cozy home like social area with a common fridge, a TV and a mini kitchen. Vending machines and washing machines are available too.

Room Tip: second floor first room was quiet

Stayed for four days and three nights and was about $50. The crew is kind and they help make you feel comfortable. The common room is so adorable and a great way to make friends. It's a little far from the city but it's not impossible.

The place is a combination of youth hostel, capsule hotel and guest house. Most of the guests are young foreigners looking for budget accommodation and a place to meet fellow travellers and plan activities. The beds are capsule hotel style. My room has 6 capsules and one bathroom. Each capsule has a light, electrical sockets, and a curtain. The common area is like a guest house, with an elevated tatami mat floor, hammocks, dining tables and a kitchen. The staffs are friendly and multilingual. (The staff who attended to me is from Taiwan so he spoke to me in Mandarin.) Take note that the reception is in the main building ground floor while the common area is in a separate building. There is free wifi, free parking and free bedsheets, but no towels. There is a convenience store across the road and the harbor next door is a good place to watch sunset. While the place is located far from the monorail stations (15-20 min walk), the low price and high rating are the main reasons for my stay.

After a lovely stay on Zamami Island, My Place hostel in Naha was everything it promised to be. A quick walk from Tomari Port, it's a great place to decompress after your ferry ride. The lounge is spacious and cozy, the room was clean, shower hot and the AC pumped out cool air all night.

On top of that, the multi-lingual staff were knowledgeable and friendly.

If travelling as a family of three, the only room that fits is a 4-bunk room but they were kind enough to adjust the price slightly for our 3-person party.

Highly recommend!

Enjoy Okinawa!!
