We have just had a fantastic night out at this restaurant!! The food is delicious - everything is so fresh! We were seated at the counter and the kind gentlemen next to us shared selections from their meal so that we could taste things! The staff are all so friendly and helpful that even though we struggle to say just a few basic words in Japanese we felt as welcome as if we were locals! We got to have the two Okinawan things that I had been wanting to try - Goya and sea grapes! The Goya is very bitter, but dipped in the sauce it tasted really good. The sea grapes were the perfect accompaniment for the sashimi kibinago. The vegetable tempura that our neighbours introduced us to was delicious - we ordered more of them! Then there was the local marinaded sushi which the chef suggested to us - everything we tried was fantastic.
But what really made it such a lovely night was the atmosphere and the conversation. We talked a bit with our neighbours at the counter and with all the staff. Later we exchanged a few words with the family sat at the end of the counter - their daughter had such a beautiful smile and was so clearly enjoying all the food!! Later still another lady joined in as I was trying to ask the chef whether he dived and if the photos on the walls were taken by him - I did not manage to ask that but did get the name of the fish in the photo in Japanese! It was the best night out of our honeymoon!!
The bill seemed very reasonable for everything we ate, plus beer and sake!
So in short we would say that if you are in Naha and want a GREAT night out - this is the place to go! If we are ever fortunate enough to come back to Okinawa then we will head straight here!!
A huge thank you to all the staff and people we met tonight - what a wonderful evening you gave us!!

Went here after reading the good reviews that were left on TA. And I can say it was an absolutely wonderful experience.

No English menu, but the staff helps you in any way they can.

We had a sashimi set and a sushi set . Both were amazing!!! True value for money. We will be back here.

We were 3 people travelling together and we decided to order the tasting menu for about 3000 yen, the one with the big ebi (shrimp/lobster) and we were were amazed. We got to taste various kinds of food from Okinawa, and every dish had something new to offer and all of the dishes were delicious, especially the main course, the big ebi, wow, I can't praise this dish enough, the sauce was the best sauce I've had in Japan.

We sat at the counter and since we know a little bit of Japanese we were able to speak to other guests with our broken Japanese, and the obasan, the kind old lady who works there, was always chatting with us and telling us about okinawa and explaining the dishes. We ended up spending 4 hours at the restaurant, and had a very good time. The staff is really nice.

We were sitting at the international street when a kind old lady, the kind obasan, asks us if we remembered her, and of course we did, she was so glad to meet us again that she gave us okinawa glasses and okinawa cookies. After that spontaneous meeting we decided to go back to the restaurant our last night. We ordered the other tasting menu, and their special nigiri and the fresh fish of the day. Of course the food was very delicious and we had a great time, leaving the restaurant after 4 hours, we took a photo with the staff, and they were so kind that they gave us mandarin and omiyage when we returned to our hotel.

We also recommended this restaurant to our friends when they went and they also had a great experience, leaving with gifts from the staff.

By far one of the best restaurant I've been to in Japan, and most definitely with the best service, and the best heart. When ordering at this restaurant you cannot go wrong, everything tastes amazing. But I would recommend the tasting menu with the big ebi.

One of the highlights of our trip on Okinawa.

We showed up at 8pm and the place was packed. We came back one hour after and finally a spot at the bar was available. Place was filled with either locals, business men and Japanese tourists, 20 people max.
No English but the waitress spoke enough to guide us through.
Sushi and sashimi were delicious and we ended up sharing glasses of sake with the regulars.

Really authentic and cozy place. Highly recommended, especially if you speak Japanese, book before coming to be sure to get in.
