We stayed in there at Oct 04, 2016, very satisfied with their service. Both dinning and breakfast are traditional Japanese meal, which been carefully prepared and been carefully served. Great experience with Hot Spring. Staffs are nice and civility. Highly recommend

Room tip: All Rooms have sea view.

A very nice Seaview of Manpa Resort in Wakayama, Japan. The beautiful Seaview both in daytime and night time are excellent!!

The coupon provided by the resort is valuable to use. The cost of the stuff is cheaper than other places.

Perhaps this is the best onsen hotel in Osaka.

We took the shuttle bus offered by the hotel in jr station.

The dinner is fully served which unlike those are semi buffet style. Such a vlassy dinner.

Staff are so nice and the hotel offered a free electrical massage chair for use too

I booked Manpa Resort through their English website and stayed for 2 nights with my family.

First, when I drove to the front door of the resort, I was disappointed that the hotel were still under renovation. It looked like a construction site. However, their website announced that it was completed the renovation in 2008.

Second, their English website does not mentioned that the standard room was not renewed. Therefore, we booked the standard room by their misleaded. The old room was not my expected one because we expected to stay in a renewal room. So, we are very unhappy for the hotel environment.

Third, our room (Room 704) was dirty. There were insects in the blanket and the bed. My son's ear and me was bitten. It was unbelievable that the hotel gave such a bad service to us. It was a bad threat and deceived.

I compared their Japanese website and the English website and noted that the English website was not update often that may mislead the traveller.

The prices were steep but this place was only about 40 min by bus (Kansai to Wakayama station) and 20 min by taxi (Wakayama station to Manpa), so travelling time was not too bad. Once you get here you can relax at the onsen which was quiet, clean and scenic. But be sure to order full board because the restaurants are all far away. All in all a great little place to stay and relax if you ever think of visiting Wakayama.
