Most of the reviews for this little Ryokan will probably be in Japanese, our hosts were quite surprised and pleased that we made our reservation from the web as we were 'foreigners'.
Very small and friendly establishment with English speaking hosts, and English menus prepared for us for dinner etc. The food was the most amazing thing about this hotel, and the accomodation+dining packages must be considered! The food was delicious (didn't even know grilled foie gras could be a Japanese dish...) served in a private tatami mat room.
Clean rooms with western style bathrooms and amenities. A fair but short walk from the Kinugawa-Onsen train station (10-15min, I would not bother with the bus unless you have large luggage), as well as from Tobu World Square (10-15min).
A bit on the pricey side, but well worth the money (for the food!).More
