Had a really great lunch here this week with delicious food and wonderful service.
The restaurant is in a great location, along the banks of the river and has big windows looking out onto the scenery outside.
It’s a pretty spacious place, and used sparingly which was nice I.e the owner doesn’t pack the restaurant to bursting point with tables and people so there is a really relaxed and intimate atmosphere once you’re seated.
We did have to wait a bit (approx 30mins) and we’re a little confused by the automated queuing system - a machine which only has instructions in Japanese - but the owner/manager came out, explained the system to us and was really friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The food was worth the wait. It’s vegetarian and soy/bean based and totally delicious. If you haven’t tried Yuba before, this is a great place to do it; and if you have tried it before, then you’ll love this place. I read an earlier review stating that if you’re hungry, you should go somewhere else and I have to disagree with this. We left feeling happy and satisfied.
Would definitely recommend.
