Located directly across from the Okura Frontier Hotel, this is a typical Chinese restaurant with the gaudy, garish decked out decor that you only see outside of China.
The restaurant is more Cantonese low - mid range even though they they do try to make things more "classy" with their plating.
Food was good! We ordered their set menu, it really is a good deal. About 1,500 yen per person, you leave feeling pretty comfortable. We really felt guilty when they gave us shark fin on noodles, it was a huge piece of shark fin.
Staff has real Chinese people working so they got the flavor profile fairly accurate.
It's by no means a fine dining experience but they are not designed for that either. It's in a blue collar town with working man wages their price point is probably primary consideration.
If we are staying in the Okura again, we will definitely come back.
