The hotel itself is good, and I am impressed by the front staff.
The hotel is really close to the Goryokoku Park, you can easily walk to there in 5 min.
BTW, the Goryokaku Tower is a MUST-GO point if the weather is good. The view is beautiful and the exhibition of history is great.
It is also in the busy area of the city. Plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes.
Room is small but clean and nice.
From the hot-spring bath on 14F, the street cannot be seen. But there is massage chair zoon can look down the street.
There are laundry.
Free hot coffee in the lobby.
Breakfast is very 丰盛 and delicious.
The night we arrived, we planned to see the famous night view on Hakodate Mountain.
I asked the front staff how to go there. Car V.S. bus + cable, which is better? The veteran staff took a map and explain both the ways in details to me. Plus, she asked us when we will go, because from 5pm-9pm, private cars are not allowed to go up or down the mountain. After that, she suggested us to check out the live camera of cable HP, since the weather was not good that day!
I really like her!More
