Stayed here for two nights. Very comfortable clean room. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the town and castle. Breakfast is a buffet served in a restaurant attached to the hotel and is fine, with a mix of western and Japanese foods. We had vouchers provided as part of our package. We were given a parking space in the Yuyu car park a short walk from the hotel at 1000 yen per night. It was also useful to have coin operated laundry. Instructions were provided in English and the machines were easy to use. The machines take 100 yen coins and and the cost varied from 200 to 500 yen depending on the wash. Drying was 200 yen for 30 minutes. We would reommend this hotel when visiting Matsumoto.

A much more spacious room than similar type hotels in Japan, and everything in the room works really well. Lots of electrical sockets, good amenities (free drip coffee), comfortable. Views of the hills and city from our 9th floor room. Good, friendly staff. Brilliant location, a few steps away from what seems to be Matsumoto’s entertainment district packed with restaurants and bars, and 10 minutes walk to the castle. Parking in hotel area across the street. Highly recommended for a stay in this city that looks pretty interesting….wish we had stayed longer.

Room Tip: Good that they have smoking rooms available

Excellent value for money for this business type hotel ideally located in the city center close to the rail station and to all shops. Charming staff and one of the best breakfast of our three weeks trip in Japan.

I only stayed for one night. But no matter how brief my visit, I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The hotel room wasn't to big and the furniture a little simply. But it did have a certain charm and modern feel to it. The bed was a small double and very comfortable. There was some cool little smart phone in the room with a helpful guide attached. Not that it proved to be "handy" or helpful. But it was still a cool accessory to have in the room.
The breakfast was a buffet, with a reasonable selection of food. Nothing to extravagant mind, catering for both eastern and western customers. Not sure about the scrambled eggs though.
Overall, a cosy and comfortable room with friendly staff. Thumbs up.

Hotel is about 7 mins walk from JR station, and another 5-7 mins walk to the Castle. Check in lobby is on 1st floor. Room is very basic, clean and simple. Bathroom is ok, water pressure is good with hot and cold water. Landry self-service are on 3/F and 7/F, two machines on each level. Cost about 300 yen for small loads (takes 80 mins), and 400 yen for heavier loads (take 120 mins), pretty easy machine to operate. Be aware there is no safe in the room, but you can leave valuables to the reception if you need to.Breakfast at the cafe downstairs is pretty alright. In fact, we had dinner one night and very pleased with the dinner menu and service.

Room Tip: Simple but clean hotel with great location
