Big room which was very clean. We did request for a high floor room with very good view which the hotel did accomodate the high floor but not the view since we got the grave yard view which is not considered a good view from where we from (maybe the other side of the building could have avoided this particular view). The water pressure was the best amongst the hotel we stayed. But the tatami area in our room was a bit old with marks but overall the room was very clean. There is no hot spring at this hotel the public bath was filled with heated underground water.
The down side of this hotel was not the location since they provided a shuttle service and lockers near the station. However, the staff at the hotel seemed to have limited English knowledge, due to this the staff direct translate from Japanese to English can be quite rude and more like a direct command than asking the guest (eg I need the payment now). It is not that welcoming when you first stepped to check-in at the hotel. The price we paid obviously didn't match the hospitality of the staff.
We did not find that the breakfast was that great either compared to other hotels in our trip. The selections were not that extensive except the various jams they provided. We were quite disappointed as we had quite a high expectation from other reviews raving about the hotel breakfast.
Overall, it is a great hotel with big clean room, location wasn't really a problem and don't get the room with a view of the graveyard. Don't expect too much from the staff due to their limited English, they are willing to help but it could have been better with the price we paid for.
