1. Location is good, close to Kanazawa Station.
2. Breakfast is excellent, and the staff at canteen is very keen and friendly.
3. The WORST reception service EVER!
I've travelled to Japan many times and have stayed in many different hotels, from expensive one to low-cost hostel, there was never a reception service worse than that. The Japanese receptionist first gave us a wrong room key because she mistook that we had already checked in. And when we finally got the right one and asked for the breakfast vouchers as we had reserved and paid for that, she told us that our reservation didn't include breakfast. After I showed her the confirmation email, she finally made all these things right.
During the whole process, there was no smile on her face, no a single word of "sorry", even we had to spend over 20 minutes or more waiting for our check-in to be done with all these mistakes that she made.
Japan is well-known for its quality service and hospitality, what a shame for a hotel service provider to lose her kindness and professionalism to polite and peaceful customers.
I will never stay in this hotel again and recommend none of my friends to stay.
The two stars are just for the breakfast and canteen staff.
