A good hotel with very wide but hard bed and pillows but with an omelette cook.

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 22 Aug 2024
This hotel is nicely situated in this nice town close to the well-preserved samurai quarter. The room was large and well-furnished and had an extremely wide bed. The width was greater than the length! Unfortunately, it was pretty hard, and the pillow felt like they were stuffed with rice groats. Another thing that was not so impressively is the lack of separate shower. I real dislike to be forced to shower in a bathtub. The breakfast had a very nice facility and that was an omelette cook. This is something I really appreciate. The bread was not that great so, was the lack of cheese and other nice toppings like real salami sausage.

This hotel was booked for us through our tour company. It was excellent in every way. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Lovely rooms and public areas and a great location. Very nice breakfast. We also had access to the executive lounge that was lovely and quiet with very nice refreshments. I highly recommend the Kanazawa Tokyu.

This is a tired old hotel. In need of an update and to stop pretending it's a luxury hotel until the upgrade has happened
We were on a group tour and seemed plenty of others had a similar experience. I'm sure there are plenty of other hotels in this city which would provide you with a much more comfortable stay.

Modern hotel in a good location.
We had a corner room which was very spacious. Spotlessly clean.
The breakfast here was very good.
We found a great bar and a really good Indian restaurant behind the hotel.
Would definitely recommend to visit

This is a decent hotel and had a comfortable stay. The single room was a reasonable size just needs a bit of updating. Because we were on a tour breakfast was served in a banquet area and not as good as the main restaurant. The cooked breakfast wasn’t very hot just warm.

Central hotel in great location very close to a street of high-class shops - Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc. Rooms were excellent with possibly the largest double bed I've ever seen. We slept so far apart that night we had to text each other in the morning to say 'Good morning'. Very impressive. Buffet restaurant (east and west). Service impeccable.
