Remarkably good!

If you're in Kanazawa, stay here. Excellent, clean and spacious rooms and an extraordinarily generous 'happy hour' policy that offers drinks (all sorts) and quality light snacks for most of the day. Splendid breakfasts combine Japanese and Western with skill. Service, as everywhere in Japan, delightful. All this for a very modest price.

Just checked in.

Room:
Brand new, really liked modern interior. Bathroom/toilet in same room but it’s nicely designed. Somehow bathroom smelled like wet rag but I’ve experienced same issue with this type of hotel for bathroom without windows.

Facility:
There’s 2 coin laundry for 500yen. It’s pricey compared to other hotels.
Public bathroom: again; design is nice and modern. But bathroom is too small for size of hotels and it was overcrowded. Sound was bouncing a lot, there was 3 women taking in the tub and sound was bouncing all bathroom and very noisy.

Amenities:
There’s tea time, honey time, happy hour etc and hotel offers a lot. Because if this, Libby area was very noisy.

Would I come back? Last time I stayed at Trusty Korinbo and experience was better although hotel doesn’t offer tea service or bath facilities. Plus location was more convenient. We also saw Tokyu Stay under construction nearby more closest to center of town. So we’d probably go that direction next time.

Design is modern, new hotel offers a lot but somehow something was missing.

I am a very well traveled guy.
During my business trips for 15 years this was by far the worst breakfast ever.
The hotel is ok, the staff is okay, but the breakfast was non-existing (costed me about 18 Euro).

This was the second Intergate hotel we stayed in during our two week trip to Japan, and it was just as great as the first. It has only been open a few months, so the rooms are still spotless (I think we were the first ones to use the kettle and hairdryer in ours), but they are also well appointed, albeit not luxurious, and a good size given hotel rooms in Japan are usually pretty small. This was in a nice, quiet location, just a 5-10 minute walk from some of the key sights. I would happily stay there again.

The hotel was just opened when I stayed. It was in winter, so the room was cold. However, the air conditioner was broken and asked stuff to check it. One staff offered me a room on the same floor, but the linen was so smelly and could not stand it. I asked the staff whether or not he checked the room before offering me ? Then he said Yes, then why it smelled so bad? I asked, then he said nothing....
I really do not like people who try to tell a lie ...

Modern design and communal concept encouraging visits to the wide-open lobby for drinks and snacks. Spacious, well-appointed room, everything very fresh and tidy as seems to be recently renovated/opened. Location was central and easy for walking to many sights. Also were kind enough to let stow bags while on a walk and mailed me forgotten sleeping mask (thanks!)
