Our single and double rooms were absolutely predictable, precisely the same as so many business hotels, though not as much light or as many electrical sockets as some. Bed not as comfortable as most. It seems little English is spoken, even on the reservations phone. Corridors are horribly overheated, but the windows in the room open, at least.
Standard pricing, but the location was a nice surprise -- just five minutes from the Kanazawa Station building, taxi ranks and bus stops. A little difficult to find, since the signage atop the buildings (perfectly visible from near the station) is only in Japanese. Look for セントラル ホテル Don't imagine that they will release your room a minute before their 3:00 PM check-in time, even though most of the rooms are vacated early and all seem to have been cleaned long before noon.
Stayed in the newer East Building, but the breakfast is served in the older main building (in a surprisingly nice space). Not much of a greeting there, just a persistent insistence that each person take a tray. Food is cold, rather boring, and not replenished after about 8:00 in spite of an advertised opening time until 9:00.
Fine for a quick lay-over. We stayed two nights and certainly would not have stayed more.
