A small room in a great location

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 22 Feb 2020via mobile
This hotel is located within Kanazawa station, so it's a very convenient if you want to travel by either trains or buses.

There are a lot of eateries nearby and places for shopping as well.

The main drawback was the bed and pillows. I got body ache and headache after two days staying there.

Stayed 4 nights in a semi-double room. Large hotel right inside train station so convenient for day trips. Lots of food options in the area, we particularly liked the restaurants in the FORUS shopping centre at the station. Most of the main sights can be reached by bus (bus station is at the train station) or on foot (around 20 minutes).
Front desk was fine but very little English spoken. Wifi and wired internet worked well.
There was an extra 200 yen/person tax which had to paid upon check-in. Room was very small, which is not unusual but when rooms are that small, it's important that they be as functional as possible (i.e. a small glass shelf in the bathroom or an extra hook to hang things would have helped maximize the small space). Towels were a bit on the threadbare side.
We had this room at a good price but if I return to Kanazawa, I would not stay at this hotel again.

Convenient location inside Kanazawa station & nice room. I found it far too noisy though. I had a room next to the elevator and even when wearing earplugs, I could still hear the elevator dinging. The train station music can be heard clearly inside the room too. The noise was such a shame, even with earplugs it was difficult to sleep.

We stayed three nights here during a recent visit in Kanazawa. We chose the property largely based on location because it was convenient for trains and buses (it is inside Kanazwa Station) and also within walking distance of many of the attractions in the city. The room was average in size for a typical Japanese hotel room (small by western standards) and had the expected amenities. The wif-fi worked well and everything was very clean. I would recommend this property based on its location and reasonable service and price.

I didn’t understand from the map that it’s in the station so I looked for it outside. But it’s right at the exit of the gates, very comfortable to travel. And just outside the station you find the bus taking you to the sights, you can buy a 24h pass for 500 yen at the tourist office. The lobby is on the third floor, the staff is kind in spite of speaking very basic English. The room was small, like everywhere in Japan, but clean and quiet. The pillow was very hard, I had to sleep without it. The bathroom is small but new and clean. No shower cap, no hair dryer. Breakfast is at a bar of the station, not special. WiFi is good.

Hotel was literally in Kanazawa station which is very convenient for people who want to take the bus to their destination. Didnt have to travel far for the shinkansen as well when the day came for us to check out.

Hotel rooms were a little small but made it work. The room per night might have been a little bit too much for what it is but splitting the cost with your partner makes it a whole lot easier and you are pretty much paying for the convenience of being close to the train station.
