Pros:-
1. Good location - about 5 minute walk to JR station and Nohi main bus station.

2. Room size - small but consider normal for a standard Japanese hotel, and is enough for solo traveler. worth for the price paid.

3. Breakfast - compliment breakfast with room booking. good quality of foods with many choices. love their rice and pickles.

4. Quiet and quality sleep although my room is next to elevator/lift and window facing main road.

Cons:-
1. Only one lift in the building, hence, need to wait for a while.

2. further away from the tourist main spot, the historic town and morning market, about 10 minutes walking distance.

3. Lack of restaurant and convenience stores around the hotel.

I found myself stuck in Takayama an extra night due to a typhoon and stopped into this hotel because it was only two blocks from the station. It was very modern, reasonably priced, and the service was good. The room was quite small. While it was not a problem for me, I agree with other reviewers who say it's too small for a couple. The breakfast was limited and lukewarm.

We stayed for two nights at the Super Hotel. The location was great - easy walking distance to the train station and Takayama attractions. The staff were polite and helpful. The toiletries were nice and there was a public bath although we didn't try it. The breakfast was excellent and a real surprise as I did not realise it was included in the room price. All in all it was a pleasant stay.
My only complaints are the bed was rock hard and uncomfortable and the room was very small. Lucky there was an extra bunk bed otherwise not sure where our suitcases would have gone!

Stayed in this hotel for 1 nights during our 21days tour in Japan. Was in Takayama for 2 nights, but stayed in Super hotel for a day and another day in a traditional ryokan.

Room was very very small, should be the smallest I ever stayed in Japan thus far. However, facilities are complete.

Yukata and pillow can be chosen/taken from lobby, and there is onsen too. Onsen is definitely a luxury especially under -10 degree.

Location is good, which is about 10min walk (have to walk slow due to snowy road). Breakfast was adequate.

Nice budget hotel.

We stayed 2 nights, located 5 min from takayama station by walking.
Nice staff, little room with tiny bathroom
Japanese breakfast, little onsen separated hours for men & women.
Beauty products are avalaible on your welcome to the hotel, free of charge.
