Ticks all the boxes for a short stay.
Clean... spotless in fact.
I arrived late, 9.30pm. Staff friendly, enough english to checkin (i speak enough japanese anyway! )
Room: Standard japanese small - but enough for just me. Semi double bed, nicer than having single!
Opening window, great to let in some fresh air. Though Overnight i noticed that there was cold air coming in.
'Service' breakfast (as in free... part of the service): simple and basic. Western and japanese options. Sufficient For me.

My only niggle: i booked and got a non-smoking room, however the hallway on my floor smelled of cigarette smoke.

Easy am to Fushimi subway station (which is only one stop from Nagoya).
Right by Nagoya Science Museum/ planitarium. Close to Sakae shopping area. Lots of restaurants in alleys around hotel.

this hotel was a couple of minutes away from the JR train station by taxi. Walking would be too far. The hotel is placed in a busy district. Lots of restaurants and nightlight around for those interested. The hotel room was small, but had all the amenities necessary. Small bathroom, fits a single person at a time. Breakfast was included, and the food quality was alright.

we stayed at the Hamilton Black hotel for six nights recently and found it be a value for money hotel at a convenient location
if you are traveling from the airport to this hotel the best way to get there is by the centrair limousine (meitetsu bus service) from the bus stop at level one from the access plaza-bus stop 6 and get down at fushimi-cho for the hotel.trains are ok but with luggage they become inconvenient.
the room was clean and comfortable but tiny.it had the necessary facilities though and serviced well.bathroom too was small but had what we wanted.wifi in the room was ok.wired internet was fine and ethernet cable was available in the room.i was able to print off boarding passes at the business centre next to reception.there were coin driven washing machines and dryers in the lobby.breakfast had both Japanese and continental varieties (limited choice) and drinks-juice tea coffee etc from machines.bf was included in the room rate (therefore free).there was a happy hour between 6 and 8pm with free drinks-excellent!
there was a convenience store opposite the hotel, numerous restaurants in the vicinity, shops and banks with in walking distance.fushimi subway stop (exit 6) on the yellow line was also only a short walk from the hotel
over all a good budget hotel

The hotel is in city centre & a couple of minutes walk from Fushimi subway station (Yellow line) or Fushimi Cho Station where Meitetsu bus would take all the way to the Centrair Airport and back. .

The room is small (normal Japanese standard) but clean & comfortable, It comes with FREE Western & Japanese buffet breakfast (saves your expenses). In addition one can have free flow of drinks (alcohol & juice) on the house from 6-8pm. However be prepare, most Japanese are poor in English but very helpful. Many restaurants are nearby just need to walk.

Visiting the Nagoya Science Centre & Art Museum is another couple of minutes walk to Shirikawa Park. Not far is the Osu Kannon Temple and adjacent Osu Shopping Centre.
The Meguru loop Bus- (500Y) or Subway (740Y) is for 1 Day unlimited ride. For week ends buy the Domichi Eco Ticket (600 Y) [week days-850Y]-Subway & bus for 1 Day unlimited ride to visit
Nagoya port/aquqrium, Atsuta shrine, Toyota Auto Muz ,Inuyama & Nagoya Castle,Tokugawa Art Muz, Noritake Gdn ,...etc

Room tip: Request for upper floor with city view

The hotel is very good, simple but great. The location is excellent, the service is great, there is a good breakfast, more Japanese style but it´s good. There is a great Australian Bar (Shooters) next to the hotel, subway station and comercial center.
