We spent two nights in a Deluxe Garden View Bungalow. The room was very large and clean. The hotel staff was extremely kind (especially Lionel, who is always keen on helping guests). The service is more than we expected. The sea is great and really close, the swimming pool is fantastic and the dishes served at the restaurant are delicious. We enjoyed the SPA for a massage and went for a trip to the white sand dunes organized by the staff. It was a great place to relax during our 2 week journey throughout Vietnam.
Only bad thing, which prevents us from giving a better grade, is that we happened to see mice both in the garden and in the restaurant area, where breakfast was served. We totally understand that this is not a symptom of carelessness nor negligence (the garden and the swimming pool are cleaned very frequently and look great) and do not want to discourage others from going to Mia Resort, but the situation was quite uncomfortable for us.

Dear BreadandButter,

Greetings from Mia Resort Mui Ne. Thank you for your review and taking the time to tell us about your stay. It is always a pleasure to read positive reviews. I’m glad that you enjoyed your stay.

As you mentioned in your comments there were some rodents around the swimming pool. Vietnam is a developing country and unfortunately you will find rodents everywhere throughout the country. We do weekly pest control to help minimize the numbers and we are very particular with the way we store our rubbish. Whilst we do everything we can we cannot control what happens at the locally run establishments near-by. We are looking at other ways to minimize them however this is an ongoing task.

Thank you again for your review. Please feel free to contact me directly should you wish to return to Mui Ne.

Warm Regards,

Lionel Gattoni

I stayed at MIA -Mui Ne (previously known as Sailing Club Resort) in lat year.
The resort is small but beautiful with quite, relaxing and private atmosphere; which is very suitable for family/couple.the room is well-decorated, even with standard one in kind of environment-friendly theme.
I'm quite impressed with the service there, staffs are very polite, and helpful. Room service is professional and managed to surprise you by leaving some home-made premium chocolate on your pillow after the clean-up.
The breakfast is outstanding with choices of 2 dishes, cffees (illy) and various range of bread, sandwiches, cakes, fruit juices. It's delicious with restaurant quality .

The manager is very approachable, if your ahve any queries or special request you can contact her directly by email before your arrival.
I'm very happy to spend 3 days there.

This is our third time in this resort. It's a nice place with professional service. I really had a very good 'first impression'.

But this time we had a bit bad experience with the manager whom showed the bad 'body language' when the kids came in the restaurant from the swimming pool. It is quite a bad experience in such a 'service' business. The room quality is good, but the bed sheet and pillows are a bit old and smelly.

Dear sitala_toom,

Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review.

Please accept my apology if you thought my ‘body language’ was bad towards your children. For the comfort and safety of all our guests and diners we ask people to refrain themselves coming in the restaurant dripping wet.

The bed linen is changed every two days as we are an environmentally friendly hotel and try to reduce the amount of hotel linen that is washed unnecessarily across the world each day. We do provide a note in each guest room requesting that you place a rock on the bed if you wish for the linen to be changed. When you brought your request to our attention the linen was changed immediately.

Once again I apologies that this visit was not up to our normal high standard. I do hope to have the chance to welcome you again in Mia Resort Mui Ne, should you wish to return please feel free to contact me directly.

Kind Regards

After another stunning day I feel forced to write....we choose the hotel after the reviews on TA. The hotel has not failed to live up to and go beyond our expectations! The location, staff, management, accommodation, food and general 'feel good' atmosphere are something everyone needs to experience at least once I a lifetime (if not more often). We are staying in one of the beach front villas (#52) and felt at home the moment we stepped into the hotel. The staff have been genuinely attentive to us and our 4 year old son. Even with the amazing location (and we have done the maldives, so we know) and staff - the best aspect of the hotel is the restaurant. We are both 'foodies' and appreciate good food, but for a small hotel with minimal prices the food has been a joy to our taste, smell and sight. The mixture of European and Vietnamese food has been both an experience in taste and texture. Many 'Michelin' starred restaurants need to aim for this ease with their menus.
I cannot think of enough verbs to describe how good this has been (and will continue to be - 3 days left). Suffice to say we will back back at least once (if not more) in 2013.

Room Tip: Simply pick room 52 - views to die for and the sound of the waves to help you sleep. Of please do not pick too often or we could not stay there.........
