There are many positives about this hotel.

It's location at just outside the Old town is perfect for both sightseeing and going in the opposite direction to the beach. The roads are flat so ideal for cycling and luckily the hotel provides cycles free of charge.

The staff are welcoming and are able to speak English, which was great as my Vietnamese is awful. The hotel is clean and tidy and the rooms have all the required facilities.

We had breakfast included which was plentiful with a wide variety of options available. Omelettes cooked while you wait, fresh fruit and juice, cereal, meat and also dishes normally associated with bigger meals such as noodle or rice dishes.

I only have a couple of things to mention which will explain my reasons for not giving 5 stars.

Our first room (102) was at the front of the hotel and quite noisy. From the street outside, from reception and also a constant dripping noise coming from under the floor. As we arrived late we put up with the noise and to the hotels credit, when we mentioned the noise they offered is a move elsewhere without much ado. (The dripping noise was because there is a large fresh water tank under the floor of room 102).

The 2nd point and completely out of the hotels control is that there is a very large building under construction next to the hotel. Although the noise was minimal, it is an eyesore and only serves to block more sun from the pool area.

Finally the hotel are kind enough to provide cycles free of charge to guests. However many of these cycles are poorly maintained and one that I briefly used, had a buckled front wheel and was dangerous.

I stayed in other hotels in Vietnam who also provided cycles for free but which were much better maintained.

The cycle issue is only a very small point though and it shouldn't put you off staying here because overall it is a lovely place.

Had a great time at this hotel. Well placed with just a short taxi trip to old city as well as to great beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and bed comfortable. Hoi An is such a lovely town, could have stayed longer

Thanks

Clean, modern hotel with pool. Breakfast included. Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Central location for beach or downtown. Free use of bikes to take to beach. Take bikes vs. walking like we did. Be prepared for busy traffic or take a cab to beach.

I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel with my family and actually was expecting more than what we got. Here are my pros and cons based on our experience:
- Pros:
Budget hotel
Large room
Helpful staff
Cycle renting for free
Room service
Small eateries nearby
- Cons:
It is not a spacious hotel, you navigate narrow passages and around the swimming pool to get to the breakfast place, which is kind of a basement.
The spa was full, so they sent me to a small place behind the hotel for a massage(which was ok, not great).
With a young daughter and taxis acting pricey to come back to this place from the Hoi An city center, it was a bit of a pain.
Their food wasn't great - we were underwhelmed by their breakfast selection.

Overall would recommend a hotel in the Hoi An city center or on a beach. This one is kind of in the middle...of course everything depends on what you are looking for from your hotel!

We have just spent 11 days at this hotel. Firstly the staff, Jessie, Bruce, elisabeth, Peter and everyone else were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good variety, only downside was toast machine, you had to put in slice of bread about 5 times before it was toasted this did cause a bit of a back up. Rooms were spotless, pool area bit small but to be honest we didn’t spend much time there. The only downside is building work which to be fair isn’t the hotels fault, and they did offer us a free trip as compensation. Most mornings the builders started at 7am .. which wasn’t great. Hotel is ideal situated about 20 mins walk to old town however walk to beach is 40 mins not 18. Taxi to beach cost about £1.80. All in all we had a fab time and for £29 a night .... bargain !!
