Chef Tony picked us up at our hotel at 9:00 a.m. He was very patient with our large group including adults and kids. He took us to a local market and explained many things about the Vietnamese farming and market culture that we did not know about. When we arrived at the cooking school, we had some time to relax and we had some beverages and snacks. We received a tour of the farming village and got to experience some of the farming techniques ourselves. Tony was very good at making everyone feel included and we all laughed a lot. Back at the cooking school, we all received back and foot massages, and the ladies were very fun.
Finally, it was time to cook. Half our group was vegetarian and half were not. Accommodations were made for everyone. We had great fun eating and cooking all the food. We were so full at the end, but it was delicious. I would highly recommend this experience.
