“Great hotel in a great location”
Reviewed 6 July 2009

The hotel was excellent. It is located within walking distance from many restaurants and bars and souvenir stores. I stayed there for only one night, but I wish I've stayed there longer. The hotel itself is not very big. There is a fireplace in the lobby. Since I was there in the wintertime, it was very useful as it was pretty cold during the day. There was heat in the room, however I felt that it wasn't too strong even thougfh it was set on max...it was still pretty chilly at night. There was a jacuzzi in my room too and a double bed all to myself. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was friendly. A short diustance from the hotel, you can go and rent bicycles, quads, golf carts and/or go-karts and ride around town.

We recently spent 3 nights here and loved the hotel, staff and location. It is an easy walk to anywhere you would wish to see and very quiet at night. Excellent value with a 10% cash discount. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excellent room, breakfast ,service and location. Borders on the historic town with easy access to range of restaurants. Coffee at breakfast was the best we had in South America.

We stayed at Manuel Lobo Posada for only two day, but we would like staying more... The rooms are spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. We had breakfast in the terrace, a very nice and calm place.
The staff is very helpful and the localization is very good, a walking distance from the most interesting places, restaurants, museums… We highly recommend it to anyone staying in Colônia!! !
In relation to Colônia, this city is wonderful; everything seems to be magic, the streets, the houses, restaurants.... There are many options with good music and wine, perfect! Besides that, we can rent a kart, motorcycle or bike and to enjoy the city. Perfect!

Really really nice place to stay. Warm and friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and only blocks away from the historic section and the main street. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful town.
