I would fly, drive, ferry, and train at all hours just to come back to Narbonne. The decor is rustic, yet inviting, the food comforting, yet polished, and the service is above par. By far some of the best dinners I had in all of South America were had here. Will be back!

It’s a very attractive setting with superb indoor decoration and ate here a few times whilst staying in the Finca Be aware the staff speak no English and can be a bit miserable and unsmiling . Some of the food was Ok,beef bit chewy ,salads not so great. Lovely terrace area but the tiles are filthy. Kitchen didn’t look much better either.
No gluten free bread ,just rice cakes.

We stayed 3 days at Narbonna Winery. We enjoyed Christmas Eve Dinner, lunch and 3 breakfasts at Narbonne. All were excellent! It goes without saying that the wine is good, really good. Splurge and get a bottle of the $50 Tanat. The fish starter for Christmas Eve diner was some of the best food we had in all of Uruguay. We paired this with the Rose. The steak was perfectly cooked and dessert was excellent.

Lunch was very good. The breakfasts were varied and delicious. Very good breads, croissants and my favorite dulce de leche - sweet without being sticky or too much like straight carmel.

The wine at Narbona was some of the best we had in Carmelo. Sadly the food did not live up to the same standard. We got some empanadas and some pate, neither of which was tasty. We were surprised by how bad the food is considering it was the most expensive tasting in the area.

This is one fabulous and magical place I enjoy to come when near by. Food is always amazing and surroundings are so enjoyable. Little museum in the winery is also great to see. Come and try it out if you enjoy great food and wines !!!
