We stopped by here on our way from Montauk. It is outdoors and not all tables had umbrellas. We had good weather, though it was starting to get a little chilly. Service was ok, prices seemed a bit high for what we received, but I am unfamiliar with the area. My companions ordered house salad--loads of things in that, not just lettuce, the scallops with arugula/beet salad. I had the fried shrimp and it was just a little disappointing. Overall we were satisfied with our meals, but it just wasn't anything special.

Which tends to be much of the time. Parking and highway traffic can get pretty crazy, but if you're craving a lobster roll or swordfish steak sandwich downed with a Montauk Summer Ale, this is the place to go. We were disappointed with the fried clams, ironically, but the tuna poppers were amazing. The corn was some of the best we've ever had.

Been coming to this clam bar for years! It is consistently good and has THE BEST lobster salad I've ever had. Not too much mayo, big chunks of lobster and very fresh! The tuna bites appetizer is also very good Big chunks of fresh tuna that are fried but still moist and succulent on the inside. This place is always on our list to eat at when in Montauk!

I've been coming here every summer for what seems like forever. The Clam Bar never disappoints!

Hands down, THE best lobster roll on the East End.

It's $26 for a delicious, fresh, plentiful lobster roll.

I'm not sure what these other posters are talking about it being expensive…FYI...$26 isn't expensive for what you're getting people.

Do yourself a favor, stop by, grab a table, listen to good music and ENJOY!!

Lobster rolls and chowders are good, but as with all lobster rolls are expensive at almost 30 bucks each.
