“Great holiday, super villa, lovely owner”
Reviewed 5 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The villa was very well maintained, modern and clean. We went as a family of 6 (Mum, Dad and four kids - three older teenagers). As soon as we arrived in the villa we knew we had 'picked a winner'. The villa is on a quiet small complex and the complex staff are friendly and helpful. The villa is a real 'get-away' and you will probably need a vehicle if you want to make the most of the attractions that are all within a forty minute journey (we also took a satnav with us with European maps, and we found getting around a doddle) - although if you really want to be lazy you can just make the most of the villa and just hang around the pool, which is delightful. There was no wifi at the villa, which for us adults, was nice as we were further removed from work emails and such like. We would go up to the bar and complex pool, which is maybe 150/200 foot away, and wifi is stable and free there - there was no expectation that you needed to buy drinks at the pool to use the pool or the wifi and the teenagers were there an hour or two each day; however, we did buy soft drinks at the pool and our tab for the 6 of us, at the end of the two weeks, was negligible. Be aware that the complex is in the mountains and there can be the sound of crickets when you are poolside at the villa, but I found the sound quickly became normal and just part of the background. The bottom line is that our family had a great time. The only other thing to mention is that Helga (the villa owner) couldn't have been any more accommodating, I Had lots of questions when I was choosing a villa to rent and Helga's communication, and ground work to find the answers, was excellent, she really helped to make sure that everything went smoothly. I would not hesitate in recommending Helga's villa to my friends or family.

“A hidden gem, away from the crowds”
Reviewed 4 August 2016 for a stay in July 2015

If you are looking for a holiday away from the crowds, this is it. The villa is roomy and well equipped, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, fully air conditioned and outside a terrace with private pool. But the best thing about this villa is its location - the views onto the surrounding mountains are simply stunning. You need a hire car to explore the area, so you can experience something different every day - boat trips, scuba diving, shopping and eating out in Fethiye, ancient ruins, all this less than an hour's drive away. But at the end of each day, you can retreat back to the tranquility of the terrace with only the sound of crickets and those great views. We are certainly going back next year.

“Lovely villa, location good but terrible approach roads.”

We spent just over 2 weeks here at the end of August. The owner, Helga, is lovely and extremely helpful, booking car hire for us and arranging a starter grocery pack for us.
The villa is situated in a complex just outside a small village and Helga provided excellent directions to get us there from the airport. We really needed a 4x4 as while the roads as far as Kemer are fine, the rest of the journey was basically dirt tracks littered with pot holes and rocks. The worst part of the journey in and out was from the turn off for the complex to the edge of the road at the start of the villas which was quite treacherous, especially when coming back in the dark as it is pitch black and unlit.
The villa was lovely and clean as was the pool and the space outside. The villa is fully equipped with everything we needed and we felt comfortable and at home straight away. Amazing view from the terrace and pool with nothing in front of the villa apart from countryside and mountains.
There is a communal pool which we didn't use, but there is no shop or other amenities on the complex. The nearest shop is in Kemer village which is approx. 10 mins drive (on the dirt track roads).
I would certainly recommend this villa and would stay again, however I would say a car is compulsory if staying here, and preferably a 4x4.

Management Response
15 Sep 2013
I am delighted that you liked our villa, but am sorry to hear that the approach roads were poor. The problem has been caused by the laying of water pipes from the reservoir at Oren to the town of Kemer, so I am hopeful that it is something that will be resolved over the coming months.
