Great food, great portions and a great price. But more importantly amazing, kind hospitality like you are eating with a family. Greeted with a handshake and conversation, followed by really tasty food (leave room for the kneffe for dessert!) And finished with the sweetest gesture. In conversation we mentioned we were on our honeymoon and when we got the bill the owner had gone next door to buy us a wedding gift of beautiful Turkish towels with the evil eye to protect us in our lives together. Such beautiful and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for a heart and belly warming experience!!

We wanted to taste some local dishes.
I recommend the potato and mint Gozleme (a kind of pancake/ pita bread). Its not harsh with spices, but has an unexpected combination of the mint and potato.
furthermore all my friends were happy with their meals, and the prices were good as well.

We started out with Turkish coffee on the terrace by the riverbed and enjoyed it so much that we remained there for a few hours, also had lunch, and came back the next day for another two hours.
The terrace is merely wooden tables and chairs directly on the sidewalk, but they have a lovely serenity to them, makes time stand still and allows relaxation to set in.
The cafe owner is really friendly and open, he told us stories from his early years in Denmark, about his friends, and also asked us about our vacation.
Coffee was great, stronger than in other places we stopped, borek was tasty and kunefe a delight. I recommend taking your favourite novel and resting for some time in Nazar cafe.

We walked into this cafe for a quick dinner before our bus to pammukale. Tried the vegetarian borek and gozleme. Both were really good but I personally preferred the gozleme. The baklava was wonderful and worth a try.
The only staff was extremely friendly and we struck up a great conversation despite him being mute!!
There were nice old photographs to look at while we waited for our food.
Would highly recommend for a quick bite or light dinner in a homely atmosphere.
