In our trip from Istanbul to Izmir we stayed one night in Çanakkale. It was our first long road and I was pleased to find that the hotel my sister booked is like a sweet little apparment in Paris. The house itself looks like old Paris, the room, even the smallest ones (I was in a single room, my sister and her husband got a double room with a huuuuuge balcony) are retro-style with retro-phones, retro shower and very comfortable bed.

Workers are kind and very friendly, they helped us through our short stay and we were able to get our breakfest at the late hours (since we had a little too much to drink the night before :) ), like an hour before the check-out, as soon as we came down the stairs, they served us the breakfast. We were asked to choose how we'd like our eggs, as for the rest of it - it was a typical turkish breakfast with lots of eeeverything. Bread, cheese, meet, vegetibles, jam, honey - it was surprising how everything fit on the small retro-table

From the balcony we were able to see a part of sea, and it was a sweet bonus)) Balcony was huge, with a nice little table and two chairs.

Room Tip: Get the rooms with balcony - they are amazing

This small hotel is pleasant enough, but must be theabsolute best location visiting this interesting area. It is just a few steps from the waterfront Boulevard which is the most interesting place in the town. The best restaurant two minutes away and overlooking the Bosporus. Everyone comes here to visit the historical sites in Gallipolis, which is just short ferry ride away with your own car or with a tour group.

We were met at the ferry port and escorted to the hotel (short walk). Greeted at the hotel by a young lady with the nicest smile and friendliest disposition. I was delighted when she appeared next morning to serve our breakfast. The hotel was charming, clean, warm (freezing cold outside). The students were a little noisy outside, but only on their way home from a night out. The bathroom is small, but I didn't want to dance, just wash, shower etc. Quaint decor and great service. I will be back.

Room Tip: Room with a (limited) view of the Dardenelles was good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this delightful little hotel. A warm welcome and good service was given by all staff. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the port and with views of the Dardanelles. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated - a little bit of French provincial style in Turkey. - very nice. Turkish style breakfasts were delicious. The busy hub outside the hotel didn't worry us at all - the noise level was not a problem. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and cafes. Canakkale is a good base for exploring the ancient city of Troy which is easily accessible via regular and inexpensive local bus services.

Absolutely beautiful little hotel. Wonderfully decorated and cozy. What really stood out was the two young staff that checked us in served us breakfast the next morning and waved goodbye. They were wonderfully shy and perfectly professional. Breakfast was huge with the option of eggs cooked to order.

No hot water for the morning shower the only down side

Thank you so much
