“Countryside guesthouse - great breakfast”

We stayed for three nights in the room, having a real nice time. It is located close to Kusadasi but not in this terrible city but in a small countryside village. You get a great room with big and great bathroom. Everything is kept clean, but the landlady tries to live as ecological as possible, which means you might end up with a spider or two in your room (keeping away other bugs). Breakfast is just great. Recommended!

Tip: to reach the guesthouse you have to take an dirtroad for about 1 km. Not a problem with a normal car, but if you are not experienced in driving dirtroads this might be a little stressful the first time.

“At home”
Reviewed 19 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

From the moment we arrived Lydia and her animals made us feel entirely at home. Nothing was too much trouble and Lydia's advice and knowledge of the area were invaluable. We particually liked Selcuk, Incirliova, The Mille Park, The Olive Musuem and the Train Museum. Dirim guesthouse is a haven of tranquility and peace away from the main tourist areas. A car is essential to fully enjoy the area. It is a long difficult walk to the Dolmas stop. We hope to return sometime in the future and thank Lydia and her animals for a very enjoyable holiday

“Blissful tranquility”
Reviewed 7 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

After purchasing cheap air tickets to Izmir, we looked for somewhere to stay close to Ephesus but away from the tourist traps. This was our first experience of Turkey. By amazing good fortune we discovered the Dirim Guesthouse online (thank you Tripadvisor!). Many adverts are too good to be true - but not this time. The Dirim Guesthouse, with landlady Lydia to host us, exceeded every expectation. From the very first day we felt totally relaxed - really comfortable accommodation, good food and Lydia's charming company. Walks around the local mountainside tracks and forests were most enjoyable. We chose not to use a hire car but instead to use the local minibus service to travel round the area and it worked well. Lydia was a great help and our birdwatching trip with her to the Bafa lakes was a real highlight. We thoroughly recommend a holiday here - our two week stay was nowhere near long enough!

“Ultimate comfort in Kusadasi area”

If you want a tranquile and serene vacation Dirim guesthouse is your place.Wonderful vintage room but still modern at the same time right in the middle of the hill, rich with herbs and fruits.
The owner will make you feel welcome and happy every moment that you spend on her porch (smart lady, good cook and also a lot of information you can obtain from her.) We liked her grilled fish and grilled eggplants fresh made by her handy hands. Experience the Turkish bath and enjoy the company of her pets .It is very rewarding. Because of the altitude 261 m above the see level sleeping in the evenings is delightful (no need to use Air conditioner). In the crowded area of Kusadasi this is the best place to be. We used Mili park beaches combined with Dirim house and we had "charged" our batteries for the winter.
