“Fantastic apartment in lovely surroundings.”

We stayed in this apartment as a family of 6 in July for 13 days. All were really impressed with the size, views and the lovely setting close to the mountains. We hired a car at Izmir airport and stopped at the Novada outlet where there was a Kipa ( owned by Tesco) to stock up on groceries. This was only about 10 mins from the apartment and we visited several times to shop, have a coffee at Starbucks or an evening meal at one of the many restaurants. The resort itself was very well kept with lovely plants, clean pools which we didn't find too cold contrary to some reports, and a handy shop with all the essentials plus fresh bread everyday. The heat of the summer was tempered by a breeze off the sea so it was never unbearably hot and the parasol on the terrace provided shade when needed. To sit in the hot tub and watch the sun set over the sea was bliss and we never tired of the view. For history buffs there are plenty of historical sites within a reasonable drive and a visit to the hilltop village of Sirince to drink freshly squeezed orange juice and eat Gozleme is a must. All in all a fantastic holiday in a very spacious apartment, and Mark and Julie were professional and helpful throughout the booking process. I would not hesitate to recommend H-93 Oaks.

just back from 10 days at the kusadasi golf and spa resort stayed at 93 the oaks.
which is a penthoust apartmentwith two huge balconys one with a hot tub table 6 chairs two sunloungers
and still room to spare we just stayed on the balcony the whole time
there are loads of swimming pool and plenty sunloungers but we just enjoyed the view and peace and quiet.
apartment has everything you need to self cater which we do, it has a full kitchen, just go to the local tesco for supplys and we ate most nights at the casa blanca restaurant in the town of kusadasi where the boys and kim and adam the ownesr make you so very welcome food is excellant and very reasonable.
you do need a car though we rented one through argus car hire they pick you up at the airport take you to the garage to fill up and off you go,very easy to find your way just go along the motorway its about an hour from izmir.car hair cost us 128 for 10 days it wasnt a rolls royce but was economical and just fine for us on our road trips

we rented the apartment through holiday lettings which was perfect so really if you want a great holiday in turkey dont mind driving want a beautiful apartment and some where peace and quite go there.

ps went to the spa on the last day MISTAKE should have gone on the FIRST day
was amaxing i was like a ball bearing when i came out of there! so realaxed!!!

PS dont get your visa on evisa.eu.com
paid with my credit card came home and charged me £110!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Fantastic views & very well presented appartment”

As other travellers have commented the views from the appartment really are tremendous and the best in the resort. The appartment has a hot tub which is always welcome in my opinion! The rooms were very spacious & clean. The resort was still getting going for the season so some of the facilities we wanted to use were not always available. All in all a great location. Would recommend the Haman in Duvatlar & a trip to ephesus should not be missed.

“Fantastic apartment with the best views on the resort!”

We were so pleased that we did some research into the resort and the location of the apartments at the resort, before we booked this particular apartment. Both of us wanted the best views that we could find and as much uninterrupted sunshine as possible and we were certainly not disappointed. It was our first time in Turkey and we appreciated the useful information/recommendations for interesting and fun places to visit, that was provided by the owner, before our holiday. When we arrived we were both feeling tired after our flight and the journey, via hire car, to the resort. It was nice to find that the basic essentials had been provided for us, in the apartment, so that we did not have to rush out to find shops. We were also relieved to find that parking was not a problem right next to the apartment block which was in ‘The Oaks’ part of the resort, that had been recommended to us for having stunning views over the National Park, the Island of Samos and of course the sea. There was also only one flight of steps up to the apartment entrance, which was a blessing considering our heavy suitcases! The bedrooms were also at the same level as the entrance door. These points are worthy of consideration by families with children and more elderly holidaymakers, as none of the apartment blocks at the resort appeared to have Lifts. The apartment was within a short walk of the Atrium, the main hub of the resort, but far enough away that the evening entertainment did not disturb us. At the end of the day we often enjoyed using the apartment’s own Jacuzzi from where we could watch the sun setting behind the Island of Samos or the big Cruise Liners sailing back to sea. The facilities at the resort are first class and the staff are generally very helpful, polite and spoke reasonably good English. Whilst at the resort, we enjoyed meals as The Oaks Restaurant which was well prepared and presented, and the prices comparable with good restaurants at home. We would also recommend the Golf Clubhouse Restaurant where the food and setting were excellent, and although a bit more expensive, it was well worth it.

This was certainly one of our most enjoyable holidays and we would thoroughly recommend this apartment and resort to anyone thinking of travelling to Turkey.

“Lovely Apartment - gorgeous terrace views!”

We stayed at this apartment in mid May 2013. We have been to Turkey many times, but never to Kusadasi area, so this was a new location for us.

We would highly recommend the apartment and as the resort is still fairly new (in 2nd year), everything looks fresh and clean. The apartment is very nice and comfortable, with uninterrupted views of Kusadasi and the sea from both terraces – very relaxing and beautiful. Amazingly all the main apartment windows had optional black-out curtains. What utter bliss for a lay-in. We have stayed in numerous hotels and villas in turkey and we always find sheer cotton curtains at the windows. Why would we want to be up at sunrise whilst on holiday!

One of the pools was opposite the apartment, so not far to wander across if you fancy a swim. But as there was just the two of us, and there are two loungers on the main terrace, we had days out then came back to sunbath on our terrace at the end of the day. Perfect really.

We didn’t take the full board option, as we prefer to eat in different places, but Mark did let us know this option was available if we wanted. What we hadn’t realised…and it was a bit like pulling teeth asking reception to explain it to us…is that we could do ‘All Inclusive’ for the odd day, there was a half board option apparently, and we also found out we could book the ‘all inclusive buffet’ for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Not sure why reception didn’t offer this information when we checked in, as we may have had a few extras meals on the resort. However, we did have one buffet dinner in the end. The food was good and plentiful (if not lacking in a bit of authentic Turkish kofta dishes which we love!) and the local wine and beer included was decent and perfectly drinkable.

We also booked into the Club Restaurant by the golf club for dinner one evening. Sounds crazy, but we actually drove to the restaurant, although still on the resort it’s a bit of a hike to get to it (assume they offer internal transportation from reception if you want it on one of their golf buggys buzzing around the resort!). Its slightly more formal, with lovely views of the golf course but ask them to explain the menu (which was really badly written) – ie ravioli, was in fact seafood, not meat ravioli. Overall menu was a bit limited - steak dishes, a few other meat dishes, choices of pasta dishes – but the food was excellent in the end, once we had found out what we were ordering. Bottles of wine seemed very pricey here.

We had a car, so came and went as we pleased, but we did notice there were coaches taking people off to markets, beach and such like each day and it looks like there were reps organising trips in reception if you wanted. You do need some organised transportation or your own car, as this resort is away from anything else. Its about 10 mins drive into Kusadasi from the resort and you’ll find a large Kipa (Tesco) en-route.

As we drove ourselves from Izmir airport (1 hour) to the apartment we drove past a Novata (or Novada?) Outlet Retail park and made a mental note to go back in the morning and get some food shopping for the apartment. We were pleasantly surprised to discover an open air shopping area with a good choice of shops (from cheap primark equivalent to lovely clothes shops, Nike/Adidas shop, gift shops, another Kipa (Tesco), Star Bucks, McDonalds (or burger king , can’t remember which) but also some lovely Turkish restaurants. If you want to shop, without haggling, try clothes on in cool air-con shops, have a nice lunch, then this is the place for you. We enjoyed the occasional turkish kofta lunch here ( very reasonable prices) and then wandered around to star bucks to enjoy coffee in the sunshine or do a bit of shopping. We saw the odd tourist but found this to be a ‘locals’ spot. Its about 3 mins drive form the apartment (drive away from Kusadasi on the dual carriageway when leaving resort, turn left at first roundabout and then its opposite you at next roundabout. Easy.

We did use some of the resort facilities (gym - 4 running machines, a bunch of steppers and plenty of free weights – all pretty modern). We didn’t use the golf course – but it looked stunning. However imagine very challenging (narrow greens – and very hilly), so take plenty of golf balls!!

Overall, would happily book this apartment again if we returned to Kusadasi area.
