our third time to the Terrace at Manzara Villas which is proof of how lovely it is. The apartment is modern, spacious with a lovely large terrace overlooking the pool. It is located on Kalamar Road heading towRds Kalamar Bay. It has good local amenities, a local shop for the essentials, two very good bistros and a very popular cafe just opposite, all offering the best hospitality. The apartment is also within walking distance to the beautiful Kalamar Beach Club which has the best views and lots of water sports, an absolute must and offers a free shuttle service from the apartment. The apartment is 10-15 mins to walk into the old town but taxis are very reasonable. We didn't go into town every night as there are so many good local restaurants heading along towards town on the Kalamar Road. We chose our local bar again being the Aqua which have music evenings, great cocktails and fantastic food. Manzara is such a chilled out place to stay and would definitely recommend to couples and families alike. Thank you to Sharon and Rambo who are always at hand and to Ben who is also a lovely guy.
We've stayed at all three of the apartments that make up the Villa and we've been impressed every time! The whole place is kept really clean and tidy. The location is great, there are restaurants nearby and it's not far to town. Just in the process of booking the 2017 trip!
This was our 3rd time we have been to this apartment, we love the terrace as we like to sit outside reading out books and having a glass of wine on the terrace. Really peaceful and lovely views. Number of mixed style restaurants and bars in walking distance of apartment if you don't want to walk down the hill into the town. If you do though you will find numerous lovely restaurants and bars and shops, where you will meet really nice and friendly people to chat and get to know. The only downside is the walk back up the hill at night, after you have had a lovely dinner and drinks, but you can easily get a taxi for about 10 lira that will drop you back at anytime. There are a number of places to visit, and boat trips around the bays, lovely national park beaches and a lido in walking distance with a nice restaurant and loungers where you can have a dip in the sea. Already booked up for next year.

our 5th visit to Kalkan but the 1st time staying at the Kalamar end as we had always stayed in the Old Town. When we 1st arrived we thought it may be a little too far away from our friends in the Old Town. By day 3 we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves and away from the bustle of the old town. On arrival we had a welcome pack of grocery essentials which was very welcome. The apartment itself is very modern, clean and well maintained and couldnt be faulted. We ate breakfast every morning on the lovely terrace and also enjoyed the odd drink on there people watching. Down a few steps to the lovely pool. The small complex feels very secure and safe. We ate at a lovely new bistro around the corner and we had two very good cafe/restaurants within a short distance, Cafe Vita and Cafe Aqua. There are so many bars, hotels and restaurants along the Kalamar Road if you do not want to go into the old town. There is also the Kalamar Beach Club which offers a free shuttle service. If you do wish to go into the Old Town which is highly recommended, the taxis are so cheap to hire. No problems with the transfer from the airport who tooks us straight to the apartment and not the usual stop off for coffee and smoke. Thanks to Ben, Sharon and all the team for an excellent holiday.
We stayed in the 'Terrace' for two weeks with our two children and some friends stayed in Island View for three weeks so we had most of the place to ourselves. The villa is clean, spacious and very well equipped and maintained. The pool is not huge but plenty big enough to cool down or have a quick game of volleyball with the family! There are lots of sun beds and chairs and our villa had an outside table on the balcony big enough for 8 to eat in style.
My only criticism of the Villa is our Double bed was a bit too firm but if you like a firm bed you are in luck!
There are several great restaurants and a shop within 100 yrds of the villa and the main town and Harbour of Kalkan is a 10 min walk.
This is our second trip to Kalkan and would have no hesitation in recommneding it and Manzara Villa to anyone looking for a quiet, safe and relaxing holiday in the Sun.
