“Fabulous Jasmine Villa”

This was our second stay at Jasmine Villa, fourth time to Kalkan. We wre gutted last year that we left it too late to book the villa and stayed at a different villa which wasn't a patch on superb Jasmine. The outdoor terraces and swimming pool are fantastic, which make it hard to tear yourself away. The villa itself is brilliant and has everything you need. Already booked for June 2015!

“THRILLA VILLA”

Just back from an amazing 2-week stay with my wife at what has to be one of the best villas in Kalkan.
With the Taurus mountain range as a backdrop, Villa Jasmine takes in breathtaking views over the bay and harbour of the picturesque town.
The air-conditioned villa sits in large, Mediterranean style gardens of more than half an acre with a magnificent, swimming pool area, complete with sunbeds and parasols. The main terrace is equipped with a six-place patio set and is partly sheltered from the sun by overhead vines – perfect for enjoying the views with a glass or two of your favourite tipple.
Steps lead down to a sunken garden with a large utility and storage area, complete with bathroom, washing machine and ironing facilities for those who feel inclined. Lilos and swimming rings are kept here for general use.
Jasmine has a large, very well equipped kitchen with all mod cons. We mainly used it for breakfast and snacks but it’s a great alternative if you “tire” of eating out at one of the many inexpensive restaurants in the town.
The lounge area is equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and free WI-FI.
We found our ipad connected easily and worked really well.
There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs with a master bedroom with en-suite shower room upstairs. The powerful shower certainly knocks the senses back into you after a hard day “chilling-out” around the pool.
All the bedrooms have shuttered doors leading to the large terraces with their wonderful views over the bay.
The villa is a ten-minute walk from the town centre and has plenty of supermarkets and interesting shops.
Market day is on Thursdays and is well worth a visit, however, we found Kalkan to be very steep in parts and would not be suitable for some, although taxis are reasonably priced and plentiful.
Finally, the transfers to and from the airport were arranged when booking the villa. The drivers were punctual, the cars clean and air conditioned with chilled, bottled water ‘thrown in’ for the 90 minute journey – FANTASTIC!
Great villa, great town, great holiday – would definitely go back.

“Beautiful Villa, huge pool, wonderful location”
Reviewed 30 August 2012 for a stay in August 2012

The photos on the Holiday Lettings Web Site did not show just how beautiful this Villa is, considering it is on the Edge of town, it has a lot of land with it, and is relatively quiet. It's beautiful to look at and the kids loved the huge pool, so did my husband as he could do "proper" swimming. There are lots of shady areas and umbrellas and the sunbeds are comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower in the main bedroom was lovely.
It takes 5 minutes to walk to a super market and about 10 to walk into the town. This town has numerous restaurants, all have superb food and although maybe not as cheap as other Turkish Resorts, it is still reasonable. Amazingly, there were hardly any wasps or flies and the town is very clean. We took precautions regarding Mosquitoes and I wasn't bitten at all.
Palm Beach Club is great to go for the day (kids were 9 and 12) but would suit teenagers as well.
Patara Beach which is georgeous is only 20 minutes drive away.
Would definitely stay in Jasmine Villa again, one of the best Villas and locations we have ever been to. Turkey is really green and the people are very friendly.

Liked best: The kids loved the pool best, and Kalkan is a lovely town and base.
Liked least: There is a neighbour next door which can overlook the pool, but only saw them twice and wasn't a problem and condsidering you are in a town it is very private.
