Owner description: Flying Hanuman is an adventure like no other on Phuket. It shows that the island’s beauty goes far beyond the sea, sun and sand that it is famous for. The hillsides of Phuket overflow with thick forest that is great for exploration and outdoor activities. What Flying Hanuman aimed to achieve was to provide travellers with exceptional service, enjoyment, excitement and memories without impacting the natural balance within the forest environment surrounding it. There is no better way to take in the other face of the Pearl of the Andaman.

Ok $250 no discounts possible for one adult and small child (my wife couldn't justify the price to go too), and then short time rides, not much happening really except posing for a photographer everywhere - what a major rip-off now. This place has transformed in just a year from an affordable, straightforward good fun business into a fat tourist trap. Must be massive profits here - amazing array of new things - fancy cars, little trolleys, big buildings now, fancy toilets omg. Then I realised - this tour should be like $40 each but it's $250 for 2. Short zipline - seemed a lot based around a professional photographer asking you to pose for him in every zipline. then they try and sell you the pics for $60 at the end. omg. Guys, just make it shorter, no lunch, no t-shirt, no 1,500 for photos, and just sell us a good experience that you will get repeat customers for by charging a price we can all happily pay for our whole families to do - it was good 2 years ago, and a lot more people too. Also had some fun on the day - now, they don't let you take any small bags or anything anymore - so after a big issue I raised about "no way can I put the stuff in their little silly boxes" a lady was presented to me who said she would guarantee the stuff would be ok - so I said "let me get this straight, if my family's passports, credit cards, and all our money goes missing or stolen or fire or suffers any other misadventure - then she was personally going to get them back for me and quickly - .......or if not what exactly is that guarantee she is promising me?" - I was allowed to take my bag then :-) . Anyway, if the tourists, keep paying these fees then they will keep on doing it and putting them up. Noticed most tourists were Russian here.

"Flying Hanuman" is a good place to visit. If you prefer active vacation and you want to boost your level of adrenaline this place is excellent for that. It offers you a lot of flights all above the ground between the platforms are located on the trees. During the flights you can see a good sigths to the Phuket Island.

You don't have to worry, this place is absolutely safe without any risks to get injuried. The guides will help you to pass the routes safe and will prevent you from any danger.

At the end of your journey you will be able to have a free meal (rice, meat, vegetables, fruits, water and so on... many meal) and T-shirt of your size. You can buy photos, videos and souvenires aswell.

I recommend you to attend this place in the morning when the weather is not so hot and the Sun is not so dangerous. If you have a GoPro camera you should take it with you in order to have many photos.

We’re so thrilled that you had a good time while visiting Flying Hanuman! The sights really are amazing, which is why we're a tourist favorite. It really is the best way to experience the other face of the Pearl of the Andaman. You may have notice how hard we work to provide a fun atmosphere while keeping safety as the top priority. All of our Guides are well trained so that guests are in good hands every step of the way. Hopefully our T-shirts will be great keepsake from your visit. If you snap some photos, make sure to share them here so we can see your fun times!

We booked this on line through Asia Travel prior to arriving in Phuket. We were collected from our hotel about 30 minutes late due to other pick ups. We were the last before the 20 minute transfer to our morning adventure. We had book the 8am slot and so did not request lunch. The experience lasts 2 hours. We had purchased option B, 28 platforms which included 15 ziplines one 400 metres long. Upon arrival we filled out the obligatory disclaimers and were given a blue band. All of our pick up (10 in total) wore the same bands and were escorted through the course as one unit. Both instructors spoke reasonable English, and some Russian to get there instructions across. Both were very helpful throughout the course which at times offered great views through the canopy towards the coast. The 2 hours flew by if you will pardon the pun. We were allowed to take mobile phones and gopro cameras for some action shots of friends and family. After our adventure we were served fresh fruit before our group was taken home. From a safety point of view I felt secure and at no time felt staff took any unnecessary risks.

We had fun. Ziplining in the thai rainforest, surrounded by beautiful, lush hills is fun. How can it not be.

But is this a must do or an unforgettable experience? No. Kind of a tourist trap and fairly pricey for a short experience (2,300 bhatt for one hour of ziplining).
They have a two hour option, but I think the effect kind of wore off after the first 45 minutes.

I did the Discover C track for beginners and it is very well designed and run by the team on the ground. The two guides assigned were fun and caring ( Mr Bang Bang was one of the guides and he was really fun). The zip-lines and skyrails are safely designed and I don't see any risk for anyone in taking up this activity. In short a risk free, full thrill experience. You just need a bit of guts to take the jump into the wilds! Only negative is the event assigns professional photographers for covering your action but they would ask additional 300B for the photos each. That's a bit overpriced and I would say if they reduced it a bit to like 50B per photo they would sell like hotcakes. But overall another great experience!
