It was nice, chose the option which includes the visit to the market. Saw some interesting stuff, stinky when you enter, but you get use to it super fast. Was surprised to see frogs on display as well. The fruit stall right at the entrance had us taste some fruit that we do not know which was nice. The chef have us some tips about fair prices and which of the markets will give us better prices. Upstairs you get chefs that will cook your food that you buy from the market. Also great info we got there on which stall to use.

The market have flowers (little, not a huge selection) fruits, vegetables, fish, shellfish, chicken and pork. This is an experience on its own, can recommend it. On our walk (about 10mins) we also saw some other places we visited afterwards that was nice.

Back to the cooking, it is nice info about Thai cooking. It is super easy and fast as they already prepare your ingredients. You take home a recipe/info booklet to be able to cook it at home. You do not have to eat everything you make, you can take it with you to enjoy later.

I would recommend this to foodies!

What a wonderful way to experience Thai food and culture. I selected Pum’s Mini-Me 2 dish which was too much food for me to eat even with teen daughter (still recovering from travel sickness)didn’t cook , but was welcomed to take photos and offered a place at table to eat, but I did give it a go. So come hungry!
I will be back !

I made 3 Thai dishes. There are options to make more which includes a visit to the market.
A fun experience. Well organised & good English spoken. Well organised with all the ingredients you need ready & a good instructor. I had Andrew.
You eat what you make & have the opportunity to taste dishes others have made too.
Easy to find as near Jungceylon.
A fun experience. Try it.
