It was a pleasant experience at the Red Planet Phuket Hotel. The price was good. The location was convenient, 5 mins walk to Patong Beach, 15 mins walk to Bangla Road and many restaurants, cafes massage shops, laundry and tour companies around the hotel. The hotel staff were very kind, helpful and polite.

Absolutely bang average

I stayed for one week in a double room for my 'quarantine' in Phuket. The location is good, only a 10 min walk from Patong Beach and probably 15 min away from the main stretch of bars and restaurants in Patong. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the shower was good. However, the room was very small - there was no wardrobe and barely space to walk around once my bags were in the room as there was nowhere to store them. There was also only one plug socket in the entire room and the WiFi was pretty average. For $25/night there is absolutely no way this was good value for money.

Excellent stay.

The hotel all in all is quite excellent, all staff members were very polite and helpful, the only thing they can improve is the addition of a Refrigerator. In any case this a excellent stay considering the location and everything else.

Highly recommended!

Very pleasant stay, incredibly comfortable beds. Very friendly, competent and professional staff. Great app concept, make sure to download it for the extra discount, the easy booking process and to live chat with counter staff if necessary.

A good hotel for overnight stays

Very simple and not expensive. But if you want comfort and service, you're definitely not here. The hotel is suitable for those who travel all day or spend time on the beach, and in the evening he needs a toilet, shower and bed.
It is 5 minutes walk to the beach. It takes 10 minutes to the center. So the location of the hotel is great. Housekeeping every day.
The room has free air conditioning, fan, WiFi and safe. There is a TV with international programs.
There is no closet (shelves) for clothes. There is an open closet with a small number of hangers. The main things are stored in your suitcase, which lies on the floor.

Its cheap and in a good location but that's about it

This is a cheap hotel located along the main street, and I think the staff cop a bit of flack from customers but its not their fault.

The hotel is cheap with the bare bone basics and not even a bar fridge in the rooms.

Pros:
Good location
Cheap

Cons:
small rooms
poor quality TV with poor reception and selection of channels
No bar fridge in room
Stuffy in the corridors
house keeping needs improving
No Pool
No bar or common areas to socialize or meet people

If you are after something cheap while you are waiting for something better for example if you arrive late at night and didn't want to waste a full days accommodation or if you were about to leave early morning to get to the airport then this is ok
