I couldn't decide on which hotel to book in Phuket, but I decided on the diamond cliff resort, well what a decision that was. We arrived late at night and we shown to our room by the very helpful staff.

Breakfast is a buffet, you can have a egg anyway you like fried, poached, scrambled, boiled and a omelette anyway you like. There was that many fruits I lost count and everything else you can think off.We didn't eat for a while after it.

There are 2 pools,which are constantly cleaned and a bar person asking if you need anything.

There are deals on every night for the restaurant ,which we tried and again it never lets us down and not too expensive.

The room was very big and spacious and cleaned every day. 2 bottles of free water everday.

To top it off on our last day we got access to the lounge to use as we had a late night flight. The lounge has a tv ,seating inside and outside and a full shower room for both women and men.

We picked up a deal through Luxury Escapes and felt we got great value. Our room was spacious and comfortable. No adjustment for air conditioning fan, it stays on (which is a relief when you return from the heat of the day) but can be a little noisey at night. There are plenty of steps but the Resort provides a shuttle service to take guests up the hill to the various accommodation levels. Plenty of security, they even stop traffic for you to cross the road. Short walk into Patong or plenty of taxis and tuk tuks on hand. Staff are friendly and helpful; in reception, Jane was particularly delightful. The range of guest nationalities at the Resort is wide, so staff do their best to accommodate a diversity of languages and cultures.

It's a good 5 star hotel loaded with amenities and good staff... Swimming pool is great for kids as it has slides as well ... Restaurants are ok .. very few veg options are there is food and that's something that should be improved... Italian options are also very limited .. for e.g .. aglio olio pasta .. lasagna etc are not avail
