I love pad Thai! The sweet restaurant has the best pad Thai especially in Thailand! I loved the cozy friendly family atmosphere! They also have the kids free ice cream!

My family had reasonably good Thai Food at this place. You may want to visit here if you are looking for Thai food at good pricing.

Located towards the top of a cul de sac, off the main beach road close to Bangla Street and surrounded by other restaurants.This is a good choice for both Thai and western food and seemed popular. We thought the food was great and really enjoyed our meal.

Prices very reasonable given quality. Staff good and the owner coming over to speak to us was a nice touch.

Possibly lacks a little in the way of atmosphere but is recommended

On our recent trip to Patong, we visited The Sweet a number of times. For Patong, the food quality is good, very reasonably priced and very friendly service. One thing that stood out was the place was very clean and probably the only restaurant in Patong we visited that had hand sanitiser on the table. The owner is an Aussie who does the rounds of the tables to greet his customers which is nice. As my 10yo ate all his dinner, the owner took him behind the counter and he got to make his own ice cream on the house. I would recommend this restaurant and will happily return on our next trip.

If you want to have a good thai meal with nice price, in a calm street with no music playing on, where you can talk to your companion, then you should visit this restaurant. An extra bonus is the friendly and serviceminded staff.
The only difference as far as we noticed is that the dishes had more vegetables last year.
