This resort has large gardens and a fantastic pool. You can walk or swim like in a tropical river. Good realisation. as you are obliged to move yourself a bit during the day. Rooms are OK and quiet. Barai Spa, next to the resort is worth a visit. Not a lot of restaurants in the area, but you can reach central Hua Hin by taxi or tuk-tuk in about 10 minutes. Very good breakfast.

We walked all the way up and down the beach and saw many of the other properties in Hua Hin. This one though is tops. Walking distance to town or an easy 5 minute ride in, and yet secluded from the other resorts. The beach is clean, the grounds manicured and lush with a wonderful waterslide, and the room spacious and clean with a balcony for reading or just having a drink. The food was spectacular. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. I cannot understand why this is ranked only number 7. So glad we did not stay at the hotels closer into town because the beach there was not as clean and somehow the atmosphere was almost shabby - not what I would want from a beach vacation. Perfect getaway from Bangkok. The ride was only 2.5 hours. Would very highly recommend.

Just returned from a business trip to Hua Hin and stayed here for a couple of nights. We have been regulars at their McFarland House bar/restaurant over the years but this was the first time to actually stay overnight at the hotel. The service was attentive, the grounds well kept, the food excellent (the Thai food is done authentically versus being Westernised), the facilities extensive and the cocktails had an appropriate kick. The room was OK, but not practical for working as the phone is by the bed and not on the work desk. Also, the work desk is pretty small compared with other hotels of similar quality. Aircon was too cold and adjusting the temperature, which resulted in warm air being blown out that made the stone-tiled floor slippery and wet, and frankly quite dangerous. Staff at check-out did appear genuinely concerned that my wife and I both got colds from the aircon and promised to look into the problem. The bed could have been more comfortable also, the mattress had clearly seen better days. Overall, though, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel highly.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the swimming pools and overlooking the garden and pond are quieter.

I had a very nice 9 day stay. It's a beautiful property with direct beach access. Although a little out of town it's an easy trip. And you will only need to go there in the evening, nothing to do there during the day.

I stayed in one of the Regency Suites. A very nice room, although I missed out on a balcony being on the ground floor.

The service was excellent. And I really enjoyed having access to the Regency Club, including the section of beach chairs reserved for RC guests. Also a decent breakfast and good snacks during the "cocktail hours".

I had several massages in the Barai Spa. Also very nice.

I you are looking for a hotel to relax for a week, this is the place.

I have been here four times, most recently in January. It is better than ever. We were upgraded to a gorgeous suite that is newly renovated and included a free massage each day. The Regency Club is spectacular, the food, the atmosphere and the service are all outstanding. The Barai Spa is unique and one of the best I have ever visited. Kids facilities are awesome and there is a great range of activities. We have already booked again for next year. Well done Hyatt Hua Hin you are a family favorite. My only issue was the beds were a bit too hard.

Dear Lil H

It was a pleasure to have you and your family back again to the resort last month. We are happy to know that your entire family had a good time and enjoying the various facilities and services at the resort.

We will look into the mattress of the room you stayed as there should be no reason for this being that hard.

Our sincere appreciation for your support and patronage! We look forward to seeing you and your family again next year.

With sincere regards
